A visit to the magical home of Guinness is a must on anyone’s trip to Dublin. Guinness Storehouse is located in the heart of the Guinness Brewery at St. James’s Gate. Housed in an old fermentation plant, the 7-story visitor experience tells the history of the world-famous Guinness Stout. Your adventure begins the moment you walk through the door and into the building’s giant, the pint-shaped heart of glass. As you make your way through the Guinness Storehouse, you’ll discover what goes into making the Black Stuff – the ingredients, the process, and the passion. Learn about the different award-winning advertising campaigns and slogans used to market Guinness. Having traveled through more than 250 years of history, end your tour at the Gravity Bar where you’ll receive a pint of Guinness. Relax and enjoy the spectacular 360-degree views over Dublin.

The Storehouse is a marvelously designed facility with very interesting displays. The Gravity Bar has great views of the city. It is too bad that it was so crowded that finding a table was nearly impossible. The lines to get a Guiness were long but the delicious beer is worth the wait. A reservation earlier in the day may have been less crowded, but a beer in the afternoon is more satisfying.

They were very nice and accommodating. We were 10 minutes late for the last tour but they still let us in. All the restaurants were closed but they do have food inside if you go before 1600. We enjoyed the tasting and of course the gravity bar. It’s a great experience.

4th visit to date - always enjoyable , varied and interesting . The museum and tours have developed over the years - great to hear the various talks by the staff . Marching jazz band and music was a bonus - and really added to the amazing atmosphere. Extremely busy - great ambiance. Gravity bar now has two receptions. We thought the Guinness in the sampling room was a tad better than that at the Gravity Bar. Guinness at the Gravity bar was pre-poured due to volume of people , and therefore not as chilled as previous visits. Really great experience - very pleasant , entertaining , enjoyable , memorable etc. Thanks to all the brilliant management and staff . We can remember the Guinness Clock at Barry Island , South Wales (home town) Cheers - Jenny and Steve
