Full description

Tour the coastline of Northern Ireland on a day trip from Dublin in a comfortable bus. Follow your guide as you visit iconic sights, including the Giant's Causeway, the Dark Hedges, Dunluce Castle, and Belfast.

Depart Dublin and travel North, stopping at a service station along the way for breakfast, to buy lunch, and to stretch your legs. Your first attraction is to take a 5-minute photo stop at the famous and picturesque ruins of Dunluce Castle. Afterward, head to the Giant's Causeway, formed from about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns. Enjoy at least 2 hours at the UNESCO World Heritage Site and get up close to the hexagonal columns, often referred to as the "8th Wonder of the World." Take in the fantastic views of the Irish Sea and then spend around 20 minutes traveling along the avenue of intertwined beech trees known as "Dark Hedges." Planted in the 18th-century by the Stuart family, the beautiful sight was used in the Game of Thrones series and the Transformers movie. Lastly, go to Belfast to see the capital of Northern Ireland and the birthplace of the Titanic ocean liner. Stop next to Belfast City Hall and spend approximately 1.5 hours exploring the city. Do some sightseeing, shopping, and grab some food before continuing the journey home.

Omg. Literally the best tour I’ve ever been on! Danny and Marco were the absolute best. Danny knew so much about Irish history and is a fantastic story teller. I literally had chills for some of the history stories. The views were amazing and just overall a great tour. You have to go with Fin McCools tours ❤️

Taking this trip was more than worth it! The bus was so efficient, learned so much from our tour guide (Danny) and the driver (Marco) was so efficient. Although it was a packed day with lots to do, it didn’t feel rushed at all. The experience of also meeting other passengers on the bus and getting to know them was amazing. Definitely going on a tour with Finn McCool tours again when i get back!

Our tour guide was Mr. Daniel. The tour had long hours of bus ride but Dani kept it as fun as possible. He had hardcopy pictures related to all the stories of area we were going through, made a small contest which winners won a biscuit :) Lucky for us, we had wide open visibility to see Scotland from giants causeway. Our driver was Mr. Fergus. They were both very respectful gentlemen. Only negative thing I can think about is that usb slots on the left side of the bus didn’t work. Titanic tour could be in the beginning of the tour rather than at the end because I got a little bit tired after long day. But that’s just me.
