Full description

Explore the marvelous, breathtaking beauty of Northern Ireland's coast on a full-day trip from Dublin that takes you to Giant's Causeway and Belfast. Step on board your private bus and head up to the Antrim coast, located on the tip of Northern Ireland. For our first stop, we will visit the Dark Hedges. The Dark Hedges consists of an avenue of beech trees joined together forming a natural tunnel. This is a highlight for everyone but in particular, for Game of Thrones fans, you may recognise it as 'The Kings Road'. Perfect photo opportunity. You will visit Giant's Causeway, a constellation of 40,000 interlocking basalt columns. Along the way, you will experience an amazing part of Northern Ireland, learning lots of history and seeing some of the country's most dramatic coastline. Once there, stop and breathe in the fresh air and explore the many different shapes and rock formations surrounded by mystery and mythology. Take a leisurely stroll along the beautiful sweeping beach looking over Whitepark Bay and Portbradden. Visit the vibrant and modern city of Belfast where you will have some free time for sightseeing or shopping before returning to Dublin.

It was a long trip, but I anticipated that, as it's shown in the tour info. Our guide, David, was both guide, as stated, and driver, and he could do so perfectly. He asked us if we needed to have more breaks on our way back, and made sure we were all as comfortable as could be on this longer journey. I liked his dry humor too; he cracked quite a few jokes. However he wasn't talking all the time, which is a good thing, especially at 6.30 in the morning. He gave us some peace and quiet and (Irish) music to listen to. The one thing I would've liked is to spend a little more time in Belfast city - we got one hour - and that really isn't all that much. About the sights themselves, we got to see some really nice places, and we were brought as closely as possible to some terrains that are now private. All in all, I think this tour was money well spent. We really got to see a few of Ireland's most beautiful places! Thanks David :)

Great tour of Northern Ireland, our tour guide Liam, was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to share his knowledge and offered suggestions on things to do while on vacation. Liam didn't try to only push tours through his company but instead gave pointers on where to go if we had time, this was very much appreciated. We had a great time and have so many great memories to take back home with us.

Got a lot more than I was expecting. Also did Dark Hedges and a castle, with lunch in Bushmill. I wouldn't want to cut anything but I do wish we could've had more time in Belfast. Audrey was a great host...enjoyed chatting with him about our travels!
