The guide showed us some of the locations game of thrones was filmed, and combined his knowlege as an extra in the HBO series with lovely walks through the scenic landscape and some real historical facts about the region. the day was a perfect mix of nerdy stuff, movement and nature. the pub we had Lunch in was lovely and I had the best vergetable soup ever.

Lar was an absolute delight! He is so knowledgeable/entertaining and made the day so enjoyable. Our young adult kids had never watched GoT but came along for the outdoor adventure and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The only downside to the day was the lunch restaurant. The food was what you'd expect from a tourist trap - overpriced and not very well executed. Overall, we highly recommend this tour!
