Dublin: Fast-Track Book of Kells Ticket & Dublin Castle Tour

I recently had the pleasure of joining a walking tour led by Martin, and it was an unforgettable experience! We explored Trinity College, the Book of Kells, and Dublin Castle, and Martin’s knowledge of Irish history was simply unparalleled. His passion for storytelling brought each location to life, and he had a unique ability to weave fascinating historical facts with engaging anecdotes. He made Ireland’s rich history accessible and compelling for everyone in the group, regardless of their background. The tour was well-paced, allowing us to take in the beauty of the sites without feeling rushed, and Martin made sure to engage each person, answering questions and sharing tidbits tailored to our interests. His charisma and enthusiasm were infectious, and by the end of the tour, I felt like I’d gained a deeper appreciation for Irish culture and history. I highly recommend Martin as a guide—he truly made this tour one of the highlights of my trip!

Declan was a great guide with lots of historical knowledge who told great stories about this history. He has a good sense of humour and gave us some good local tips too. We were with a fairly large group and while we could hear all being said by being upfront - perhaps headphones can be considered for larger groups in future.
