Full description

Take in the sights, sounds, and tastes of Ireland's legendary whiskies. You will be guided around Dublin's most established whiskey establishments by an expert whiskey guide. The tour will start in The Lincoln's Inn and afterwards you will visit the Palace Bar in Temple Bar, the spirit home of Irish Whiskey with a rich history frequented both by Brendan Behan and Flann O'Brien. You will taste premium whiskies in each of the three pubs, handpicked by an expert whiskey guide at each establishment. You will also learn about the history of whiskey and of Ireland.

Andrew did I great job and he knows a lot about whisky. I got an upgrade and had the tasting with 5 aged whiskeys, cheese, organic fruits and very good chocolates (almost as good as swiss chocolates :-)). The choice of pubs where also very good. I just had a great afternoon. Thank you very much Andrew.

Tiernan was an excellent guide who provided an excellent introduction to the history of Irish whiskey making, the confusing rules for whiskey naming, and an introduction to pairing whiskey with cheeses, chocolates, and fruit. The group was small and friendly. Highly recommend!

If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would. I’m normally hesitant to do tours like this, but it was well worth the money! Andrew was an amazing tour guide and able to talk about the finer points of whiskey, Irish culture and Dublin as a city. This tour was the cherry on top of a great day, and when we make it back to Dublin, we will be doing another one! Sláinte!
