Full description

Embark on a guided day trip to discover the iconic Cliffs of Moher by bus. Visit Galway and its stunning surrounding landscape and see famous landmarks, including Dunguaire Castle and Kilmacduagh Monastery.

Depart Dublin at 6:45 AM and journey through the flat open plain of the Curragh. Pass the Irish National Stud thoroughbred horse breeding facility as your guide shares a wealth of history and information.

Head to the ruins of Kilmacduagh Monastery and its roundhouse—unique for the way it leans over by more than 2 feet. Spend 15-20 minutes here. Then, arrive at the Cliffs of Moher for a view of the Atlantic Ocean and explore on your own for around 1.5 hours.

Go to the visitor's centre for the interactive Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience with a large multimedia screen displaying a bird's-eye view from the cliffs, and a video from the underwater caves.

Next, discover the lunar landscapes of The Burren with a 15–20-minute visit and hear about the many secrets of this atypical landscape, home to the warmest ground temperature in Ireland.

Arrive in the city of Galway, where you will have around 1 hour to explore on your own. Discover its old-world charm on cobblestone streets that evoke an authentic Ireland of times gone by.

Then drive along the coastal route of the Wild Atlantic Way to Kinvara, passing Dunguaire Castle and the 12 Bens mountain range along the way. Return to Dublin and get dropped off at the meeting point at around 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

CJ, our guide, has been a real perfect host. The trip was interesting, engaging, he put music based on the stories he told during the bus trip, but also left space for some rest (the trip is long). The Cliffs are wonderful and there are 2 hours to see them (plenty of time). Also the photo stops were perfect and the visit to Galway. Definitely an excellent choice, if you are not on a drive trip through the entire island i suggest for sure this experience in order to understand Ireland in a wider way. Thanks to CJ and also to the driver Gary. Well done!

We had a really nice experience with the lovely guide Gina from Dublin and the experienced chauffeur Verdan from Croatia. We got to know a lot about the history of Irland mixed with fun information as well. We had a lot of time to explore both the cliffs of Moher and Galway so if you forget to pack lunch, no worries, you can get it in the road, and in case of an emergency, you can visit the toilet on the bus. We really recommend the trip!

The trip was absolutely amazing and I think it was partly due to the amazing guide and driver we had. Gina and Gabor were knowledgeable, kind , entertaining and thoughtful on this 12 hour journey! We were seriously debating on if we should book this trip and JUST BOOK IT! Gina was so kind, we did a sing along . She gave out candy, she told stories , history , recommendations in and around the city. Her value was the weight of the trip. Now, the cliffs were ABSOLUTELY amazing, we went on a clear and sunny day and I think that’s very lucky for January. We did book 2 days prior to trip so we looked at weather beforehand. Gabor was a pro at driving the terrain. There are narrow roads, sharp turns and roads you’d think twice about and he was just so calm and easy with the bus. They notified us when they were making rest stops , photo stops so the journey didn’t feel like we were cooped up on a bus for hours, This was definitely a HUGE highlight or the best part of my trip to Ireland!
