The tour guide, Rory, was awesome. Very knowledgeable & a great driver. Anyone going should know that the stone is at the top of the castle and the stairs are very winding & steep. Once you’re in there’s no going back! There can be long queues but we were very lucky that when we went it wasn’t too bad. Even if you don’t want to kiss the stone, the grounds are beautiful & the rest of the tour worthwhile too. A fantastic day out.

This trip was incredible. Not only was the tour itself great, but Ruairí our guide was fantastic. He gave us some excellent history and background mixed with a fantastic sense of humour. Learned lots about Irish history and got to explore 3 wonderful sites/locations. I had the pleasure of chatting with him throughout the drive and got fantastic recommendations, some of which he also shared with the rest of the group. Would highly recommend!

Loved the full day tour to Blarney Castle with Richard O’Brien! He made the day so fun for us! We weren’t too excited about the long drive, but we didn’t mind at all because he kept us laughing and entertained the whole way there with very interesting facts about Irish history and unique stories about his life. He made the trip extra amazing for us! The only thing we would change is to spend more time at Blarney Castle rather than Cork. BUT would definitely recommend this tour - especially if you get Richard!
