Review summary
The tour was excellent and well worth the price. I would not have been able to see these two areas without this tour. I was visiting Ireland with a group tour but these locations were not on our itinerary. Typically if we have time during groups tours, I plan an excursion and this one was perfect. The driver was a lot of fun. I do like that there are more than one pick up location. When you are new to an area this makes it an easier process. The only thing that was a little confusing was where we were supposed to stand at one of the locations. There were no signs saying the bus picked up here or there. We stopped at several store shops to validate the address and determine where we were supposed to be picked up.

Kevin was our bus driver and guide. He was personable and kind and an expert driver. While he provided ample background during the five-hour tour, he was not longwinded or boorish, allowing my wife and me ample opportunity to enjoy the sights. We stopped twice: once for about 10-15 minutes at Lough Tay ("Guinness Lake"), and once for over an hour at Glendalough to allow for free exploration of the monastic settlement and lakes.

Was enjoyable journey, our driver pointing out all landmarks and giving plenty information, lovely walk up to upper lake, stopped at Wicklow gap, great views, unfortunately day was raining and very blustery but good excuse to finish off in hotel with baileys hot chocolate and delicious home made scones
