Ajman, located a short distance northeast of Sharjah's capital city, is the smallest of the 7 emirates. Visit Ajman's museum, housed in an ancient fort, which served as the ruler's palace.
Drive back into Sharjah, with a stop at the cultural roundabout, and proceed to the Al Majarrah Souq. Next you will see the Bait Al Naboodah family house which has been converted into the heritage museum.
Continue on to the Al Hisn Fort, the traditional residence of the ruling family of Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Qassimi. Visit the nearby Souq Al Arsah, which is one of the oldest popular souqs in the UAE. Then take a tour of a fish market to see the catch of the day. Continue to Central Market, known as the Blue Souq. Opposite stands the majestic King Faisal Mosque and the Pearl Monument, symbol of the UAE Federation.
