What People Are Saying About Dubai
The camel trek was the highlight of my whole Dubai trip. Absolutely incredible experience. The camp and the shows were a bit average and felt rushed. I was looking forward to smoking shisha and chilling but pretty much as soon as dinner and the shows finished they said we had 5minutre to get to our drivers to head back. The camel trek made up for all that though.
The whole evening including the food, the performances was very entertaining and enjoyable. The only issue was when the driver was driving us back it was very scary.
We were throughly satisfied with this experience. The ride into the desert was a generous hour with a most helpful cameleer who took about sixty photos of professional level on my camera and was friendly and efficient. The evening feast was on a mass scale, but food was abundant and good, and the entertainment impressive. Even the toilet facilities were vastly better than I'd anticipated! All round, a great introduction to Dubai.
Your Driver did not tell us anything e.g. table no etc. and dropped on Sheikh Zaid main road instead of hotel, because he is much busy. this is not the right attitude.
The camel rides were great, the tour guide went all out with taking tons of pictures for us from both my phone and our camera. Wasn't 45 mins, more like 30 mins but the amount of pictures we got made up for it. Henna was fun, got one hand painted, not sure if you had to pay for the other but I had read that in another review and everyone was just getting one hand so that was fine with me. Dressed up like the locals which made a great picture. The two dance shows were cool but short. Dinner had a good variety, curry, pasta, hummus, vegetables, salad and 3 meat options. Wasn't hot but after a long day warm food with lots of options was again fine with us. Nice that there was tea, coffee, water and soft drinks available. Alcohol was extra and we didn't ask the price. Driver picked us up within the thirty minute timeframe and definitely was a comfortable ride. Would definitely recommend. We enjoyed it.
