Our day started 6:20 for picking up and finished 20:50ish in the internet city Dubai (we were a bit starving on way back) Our guide was helpful with visa and transportation, however on way back, we spent 1.5hr at least on the boarder as there were long queues...The water temperature was ~24degree, quite comfortable for snorkel. However the water was not so transparent, and little to see. We saw ~8 to 10 dolphins during the boat tour. And as groups of other tourists were delayed, we spent ~1hr waiting at the harbor for the boat to departure...considering the money and time, it is nice to hang out there if all has been covered in Dubai, otherwise it feels a bit over spent (time, money and energy) to take the tour.

There were only 4 people in the minibus to Oman. We had a very experienced driver who explained us a lot and guided us through the border formalities. We were 12 passengers on the Dau - a maximum of 18 passengers. There is enough space for everyone on the pillows to enjoy a relaxing boat tour. The captain and his crew member were super friendly. There was a map and explanations of all places on the fjord. Cold drinks and tea / coffee were plentiful throughout the trip. The oriental lunch buffet was delicious. The boat tour started at 10 a.m. and lasted until 4 p.m. We were impressed by the landscape in the fjord, enjoyed snorkeling in the warm water between the colorful schools of fish and watched dolphins extensively. It was a super relaxing day in beautiful surroundings.

Very nice day in the khor.

An hourly pick up in a well-conditioned mini bus, with only 11 people (from Dubai to the boat at Khasab!) A 1.5 hour waste of time at the border because of the world attracted by Eid. A good grip of the crew with little care on the boat (explanations, fruit, drinks ...), tasty meal, exotic swimming and dolphin watching. Despite the late morning, the cruise lasted 5 hours, even 5:30. Waiting for the driver on the pontoon. A little late return to Dubai, but a beautiful day!
