Full description

Explore the northern Emirates of the UAE on this sightseeing tour from Dubai, and visit Dibba, Kalba, and Sharjah. Visit the Fujairah Museum and Fujairah Heritage Village, as well as Fujairah Fort perched high on a hill. Once the center of Fujairah life, the former sentry has housed a prison and has withstood attack from British naval forces and occupation by fearsome Wahabbists. Today, the historic landmark has opened its gates to the public to provide an insight into the pivotal role it once played. Continue to the oldest mosque in the UAE, dating back to the 15th century. The mosque was once known as the Ottoman Mosque, but its name comes from the person who constructed it rather that the Ottoman Empire. Enjoy amazing views from the mountain road as you travel through the Hajar Mountain range, and more, before heading back to Dubai.

We had a private car tour with Akbar. Price was reasonable. Akbar was extremely well informed about the Emirates we passed through, and his English is excellent. He took us (at our request) to an incredible local restaurant where we ate in a private room. We also went to several beaches, to historical sights, experienced incredible mountain views, the mosque from the 1400's, the desert, local markets and shopping opportunities - all done very politely and with a sense of humour. The car was clean and comfortable and ample water was provided. Akbar had thought of everything we might need (for example: a fold-up chair to sit on in the shade while waiting for the other person to explore the Portuguese Fort). It was just amazing how much we were able to see in a day and also how much fun it was!

Wunderschöne Tour. Unser Guide AKBAR hat uns einen unvergesslichen Tag mit vielen Eindrücken und Einblicken in die Kultur der VAE bereitet. Wir hatten genug Zeit an den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Er hat uns auch immer auf besondere Hingucker hingewiesen. Auch die Location zum Essen mit regionaler Küche war eine perfekte Empfehlung. Großes Dankeschön an AKBAR und seine Begleiterin.

We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel in Dubai Marina. We had a full day tour returning around 8pm! We viewed a lot of interesting places, tasted local cuisine and even bought some carpets! The guide was excellent, very patient, and never rushed us.
