From Dubai: Fujairah Half-Day Scuba Dive and Snorkeling

I really enjoyed the half-day scuba dive and snorkeling excursion with Nemo Dive Center. The transportation from Dubai to Fujairah was comfortable and spacious. We picked up one other person and traveled to Fujairah. The trip was about 2 hours long. The driver stopped at a petrol station to pick up snacks and drinks for the long ride and to allow us to use the toilets about half-way there. When we got to Fujairah we met with some other people who were either staying in Fujairah or who had their own transportation. There were 6 of us in total, 4 non-divers and 2 expert divers. When we got to the first stop at Dibba Rock, the instructors helped the expert divers first. During that time, those of us who had not dived before were able to snorkel. After the experts were done, we got the chance to dive. It was an amazing experience. The instructors were very hands-on and patient. They also added humor which made the trip that much more fun. I would definitely do this again!

I’ve booked this trip very spontaneously and it was an amazing experience. The best of it was, that during this trip, you could experience both scuba diving and snorkeling! For me, this was the first time I try both scuba and snorkeling and I was a bit afraid of what’s going to be… But my worries we’re not needed, because I had a great crew with me. The boys were very friendly, caring and very attentive. I had a pick up fro my hotel at 07:00 am and we’ve arrived around 9:00 pm at Dibba al Fujairah. There they have explained us ( for beginners ) the rules and how to react if something goes wrong. Then we’ve got our equipment and we headed with a small boat to the location. There I’ve tried snorkeling at first and then scuba diving. Scuba diving was challenging for me the first 5 minutes, but my instructor Mahmood gave me the right advised to enjoy this experience. I saw many beautiful fishes, corals and sea urchins. Unfortunately no turtles and fortunately no sharks.Thank you!
