Getting to Dubai Festival City takes long (depending on where you are staying - we were in Dubai Marina), but not too difficult. We took the Metro to the end station (Creek) and then the very cheap (2 AED) Dhow Boat across the water. The Al Faris Dinner Boat is at first look small ans quite deceiving, but the cruise went well with no hick ups, the food buffet was excellent and the service very friendly. The views along the tour got better and better as one approached the Downtown Dubai area. After 1 1/2 hour boat tour and very yummy dinner, we got to disembark and take the very short walk to La Perle (2 minute from boat dock). The Show, La Perle, is excellent. We had great seats, but believe everyone has a good seat, the way the theater is built. The show is awesome. One must see it. We had the dinner cruise without the alcoholic drinks, and that was fine. Water, orange juice, Coca Cola soft drinks, coffee and tea are all included. Great experience!

The cruise was quite relaxing and the scenery was awesome. The food was not that great but the staff and crew were quite professional and made the evening a memorable one. The La Perle show was the icing on the cake that made for a great evening. Would definitely take this tour again when I am in Dubai.

We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the evening however we had the house beverage package and was disappointed that the package only included beer & wine & no spirits. that's fine but I think this should be stated in the advertising literature. With a wife who drinks neither beer nor wine we had to purchase her drinks which defeated the whole object of the inclusive deal..!! Like I say it did not spoil the evening just needs to be made clearer before booking. Thanks Roy.
