Following a pick-up from your hotel in Dubai, transfer to some of the city’s older neighborhoods. Hear how the city developed from a small fishing village on Dubai Creek as you journey to the “Old Town” district of Bastakyia. See some of the wind tower houses. Then, go to Dubai Museum in the historic fortress of Al-Fahidi Fort.
Cross Dubai Creek by traditional water taxi (”abra”), and get spectacular views on the way to Deira. Here, experience an explosion of the senses as you wander among the exotic spice stalls of the Spice Souk. Marvel at gold jewelry in the Gold Souk.
Stop to take photos of the awe-inspiring Grand Mosque of Jumeirah, built in the medieval Fatimid tradition. Go to the Burj Al Arab Hotel to take a picture of its graceful sail-like façade. Continue to Downtown Dubai to ride the world’s fastest elevator to the 124th floor of the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest tower.
