This was the highlight of our visit to Dubai this year, absolutely wonderful! No guide as such but my wife and I were the only passengers on our ride and the pilot, Edwin was brilliant. I have a fear of heights but this experience was one not to be missed. I highly recommend to everyone.

Full description

Discover the landmarks of Dubai and take in a birdseye of the view on the city's only tethered balloon. Fly to a height of 984 ft (300 meters) and take amazing photos of the Palm Jumeirah, Burj Khalifa, and the Burj Al Arab. Purchase souvenirs at the end, and enjoy refreshments in the lounge.

Arrive at the meeting point for a quick safety briefing before your flight. Then, hop onto the balloon and soar up into the sky to enjoy a spectacular view of the city. Marvel at the coastline and ocean views. Also, see some of Dubai's most iconic landmarks, such as the Burj Khalifa.

Admire the Palm Jumeirah, a unique island that has been constructed in the sea, and see the Burj Al Arab. Take some photos if you like. The flight lasts about ten minutes in total. Finally, touch down on the ground and buy some souvenirs in the shop, or enjoy some refreshments in the lounge.

If you are staying at Atlantis or Aquaventure, or if you are coming by taxi, you can make your way here via the Avenues. A staff member will show you to the ticket office. If you are driving, park at the Aquaventure Waterpark, where a shuttle bus will pick you up. You can also come by monorail.

Had a fabulous time! We had a day ticket so no specified time. Got to Atlantis by tram/monorail around 10.15 am and the balloon was visible as the monorail pulled up, so easy to find the Booking Office. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Exchanged QR code for wristband and could not believe myself and hubby were the only ones waiting to board! Had quick safety talk, then we boarded. Absolutely loved it! just us 2, the pilot, Edwin, and a photographer. Up in the air about 15 mins and views were awesome. Bought an official photo for £20 but this included a funky plastic 'Dubai Balloon' frame, so we thought good vfm. Would highly recommend this trip and booking via this agent as everything went smoothly 👍😀
