The majestic fountains at the bottom of the Burj Khalifa are a sight to behold. With jets shooting 150 meters upwards, they're said to be visible from over 20 miles away, but we've picked out the best viewing points for you that are a little closer.
Get in a little retail therapy here, but also see great views of the fountain show! Have dinner at one of its restaurants facing the Burj Khalifa while admiring the view.
Are you a bookworm? If the answer is yes, browsing this Japanese bookshop (other languages also available) with the fountain show in the background may be your idea of perfection.
If you'd like to get up close on the action, this is a great spot as it's right on the Dubai Lake. Disembark from the abra here, buy your ticket, and enjoy!
By day, go shopping in Dubai's premier malls. By night, join the crowds on the bridge and marvel at the illuminated water and buildings adorning the city.
See the show while you float! From 5:45PM to 11:30PM (last abra departing at 11:00PM) you'll see the fountains themselves at the Dubai Creek, but also the patterns the lights make on the water!
It's a spectacular sight all year round!
The afternoon shows are at 1:00PM and 1:30PM, except on Fridays, when it's 1:30PM and 2:00PM. In the evenings, the shows occur every 30 minutes, between the hours of 6:00PM and 11:00PM.
Fountain lake rides in the evening are 65 AED per person. You can get good value for money by including the fountain viewing as part of a larger Dubai tour.
An amazing view of all of Dubai. It seemed like everyone had booked the 148th floor visit for sunset when we were there as it was extremely busy. A small espresso sized ginger and cardamom drink and a small sweet treat were offered but there was almost zero chance of a seat in the lounge or social distancing in the centre. The lower floors were less busy and the views are phenomenal. I would suggest the considerable extra expense for the higher floor wasn’t worth it in this instance
Not very crowded, even though right after New Year's. We went with 5 o'clock tour, sun is setting at 5:45 and we caught daylight, sunset and night lights. We had more than enough time and space to look and take good pictures. Masks are mandatory. 2 levels to explore and an affordable giftshop on both of them. The professional photos, you'll see, are not of very good quality, although the camera guy is fun.
I think it doesn’t make much difference between the 124th and the 148th floor. The view is quite the same . It would be nice if it was possible to buy cocktails in the 148th to enjoy the view. In any case it’s worth buying the vip tickets although they should be valid also for the way down.
Our guide took a ton of pictures and explained the history of the Bujr Khalifa. We also had an amazing experience at the VIP lounge where the views were fantastic. The ease of the express elevator is absolutely the way to go...no lines!!
Easy to find, good tour guide, voice a little fast and high pitched to heat exactly what was said- nice touch with the refreshments - would recommend this.
