Full description
Explore the beautiful Elbe castles and the area around the famous Blue Miracle Bridge in a unique way. The City Game Box contains 11 sealed and numbered envelopes with small puzzles that need to be solved. Guided by clear directions, make your way on foot, by bus, train or bike to the beautiful Elbe River castles of Dresden and to the area around the Blue Miracle Bridge. Each solved puzzle will yield a number that will tell you which envelope to open next. You will not know in advance what order the scavenger hunt city envelopes need to be opened. The envelopes will also contain detailed background information of each attraction - its history, its current use and much more. Decide for yourself when to start your Scavenger Hunt City Tour and how much time to spend at each location. Embark on an enigmatic and extraordinary tour and take a break from your City Game whenever you feel like it, or even continue your scavenger hunt on a different day – it’s completely up to you. There will be numerous cafes, restaurants and beer gardens along the way, so feel free to give in to the temptation to rest and linger. Start the game at Albrechtsberg Castle and walk through its beautiful park to the castle’s Roman baths. The neighboring Lingner Castle will also be worth a visit. Continue by bus, train or bike to Dresden’s suspension railway. If you want, make your way up the Elbe slope and enjoy a fantastic view of the picturesque Elbe Valley from there. Discover the Körnerplatz and the Friedrich-Wiek-Haus. Next, make your way down to the Old Fährhaus on the Elbe River, where beautiful beer gardens will provide an ideal spot for a break. Also not to be missed will be the famous Loschwitz Bridge, the Blue Miracle. No need to schedule your Scavenger Hunt City Tour for a certain date, simply order the City Game Box and have it delivered to your home, or make an appointment to pick it up in Dresden within the opening hours and you’re good to go.

It was a very nice trip. We got to know Dresden from a completely different perspective. The puzzles were all easy to solve. We only had problems with one task and had to use Google to help. We should count the columns in front of the Roman bath at Albrechtsberg Castle. To do this you would have to stand in front of it. Everything there was cordoned off with construction fences so that we couldn't get there directly.
