Cinque Terre: Hybrid Boat Tour with Swimming Stop

Embark on a captivating journey that unveils the heart of Cinque Terre from the sea. Get ready to discover the iconic villages along the sea. As your boat tour departs from Monterosso, the northernmost village of Cinque Terre, you're immediately enveloped in its lively atmosphere and historical charm. Monterosso, known for its beautiful beaches and lush lemon trees, serves as the perfect starting point for your adventure. As you glide southward, the next spectacle is Vernazza, arguably the most picturesque of the five villages. With its natural harbor and colorful houses clinging to steep terraces, Vernazza is a photographer's dream. The Doria Castle and the Santa Margherita d'Antiochia Church stand as timeless sentinels over this vibrant fishing village. As the coastline unfurls, a special moment awaits—a leisurely stop at Cinque Terre's most secluded beach. Here, in the midst of crystal-clear waters, indulge in a refreshing swim followed by an aperitif featuring local specialties, a true taste of Ligurian hospitality. Continuing along the coast, you reach Corniglia, the only village perched high above the sea, offering breathtaking panoramic views from its vantage point. Surrounded by terraced vineyards, Corniglia feels like a step back in time with its narrow streets and quaint piazzas, embodying the tranquil essence of rural Italian life. Manarola, your next stop, is a cascade of multi-colored houses that seem to emerge straight from the rock itself. This village is renowned for its lively waterfront where the houses seem to dive into the sea. The romance of Manarola is unmatched. The final jewel in the Cinque Terre crown is Riomaggiore, the southernmost village, a picturesque coast-side village with postcard-perfect panoramas at every bend. The boat will navigate back to Monterosso, concluding a journey that has taken you through the heart of the Cinque Terre's unparalleled beauty.

Our Tour Guide Andrea was amazing! His passion and knowledge for Liguria as a local translated into a very enjoyable tour. It went completely smoothly thanks to his careful planning and thinking. One person in our group has trouble walking long distances and up hills, and Andrea was extremely thoughtful and accommodating for her. He later gave us great recommendations for the rest of our trip in Italy. 5 Stars!

The boat was really nice and the hosts were so kind and hospitable. They gave us just enough of the history of the area so that we could really enjoy the view and boat ride. We went in mid-late October so we opted not to swim. There was a good number of passengers so we weren’t crowded and each group sort of had their own space. They served us lunch, Prosecco, and homemade lemoncello. Delicious!

Francesco was a great tour guide, especially so for private tours where you want to customize it according to your time frame. We did not feel rushed at all and was able to take our time for the photos. And with his experience of angling great photos and videos, he was able to provide awesome photos for us to keep for memories!

Seeing the villages from the water view was awesome. Our hosts Roberta and Gabrielle were entertaining and knowledgeable.

Franceso was so much fun, very entertaining and knowledgeable.
