Full description

Explore Inis Oírr with this ferry cruise from Doolin. Hop aboard and take in sea views before disembarking for free time on the island. Take the ferry back to see the Cliffs of Moher, O'Brien's Tower, and the An Branán Mór sea stacks. Hop aboard the spacious ship in Doolin and admire the views of the shore on your way to Inis Oírr. Have several hours of free time to check out the island's medieval ruins, seal colonies, shipwreck, and lighthouse with options to walk, rent a bicycle, hire a horse and cart or take a minibus tour.

Depart the island for the return trip in the afternoon. Pass by the Cliffs of Moher's highest point. Sail beneath the famous O'Brien's Tower. Listen to onboard commentary and facinating stories that dive further into the sights. Circle back passing by An Branán Mór, the great sea stack, which is home to Ireland’s largest mainland nesting bird colony. Get up close birds such as puffins, guillemots, and razorbills.

Capture pictures of the the sea cave that was used to film 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' and the famous surfing spot 'Aill na Searrach' where the 'Aileen' wave is caught.

It was a fantastic time!! All the people working for Doolin Ferry are amazing. My wife & I are on our honeymoon, and they did everything to make sure we had the best time. Adrian in the front office was especially accommodating. Inis Oirr was so much fun. Make sure to take a horse & buggy, stop by the Aran sweater shop, and definitely go into the cute Irish tavern/bar right of the dock. Great food, drinks, service, & atmosphere. And you won’t find a better chance to see the cliffs of moher than on the ferry! Kudos to everyone at Doolin Ferry!

Lovely trip to Inis Oirr with a comfortable ferry and accommodating staff. The only issue is that many people got very sea sick with the rough waves on the ferry ride back and were vomiting in their seats and in the hallway. I think it would be important to inform people of this before the get to the island and have large lunches and drinks...other than that take some dramamine and enjoy yourself.

We had a very pleasant boat trip. We were given lots of information during the journey. Very nice staff in the office and the boat. We had a great trip around the Island on the back of a tractor driven and guided excellently by an extremely friendly and well informed lady. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and meal outside the hotel.
