From Doolin: Cliffs of Moher Cruise

2. From Doolin: Cliffs of Moher Cruise

Set sail from Doolin Pier with a guide and step into a world of towering heights, crashing waves, migrating birds, and ageless legends on the Cliffs of Moher cruise. Experience the sea cliffs from below their stunning heights and soak up views of the Aran Islands and The Burren. After sailing for about 20 minutes, make a stop underneath the famous O'Brien's Tower, perched high atop the Cliffs at their highest point. Marvel at the Cliffs of Moher that rise to a magnificent height of over 214 meters. Onboard the ferry, enjoy an entertaining and informative commentary from your guide, allowing you to learn about the local history and wildlife. Keep an eye out for the region's diverse range of wildlife such as birds, basking sharks, dolphins, and seals.  Circle back as you pass by An Branán Mór, the great sea stack, which is home to Ireland’s largest mainland nesting bird colony that makes it their summer home. Get up close to birds such as puffins, guillemots, and razorbills. On the way back to Doolin Pier, pass the sea cave from 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' and the famous surfing spot 'Aill na Searrach' where the 'Aileen' wave is caught. Keep your cameras ready as the journey along the cliffs provides many fantastic photo opportunities.
