The creative urban regeneration project started in 2010 and the success of the project attracts 1,400,000 Korean and foreign tourists to the village annually. It's earning this village the nickname of "Machu Picchu of Busan." 3) Amidong Tombstone village - The stairs and the walls in this village are different from what you normally see. They are all tombstones. That's why the village is called Tombstone culture village. People began living here in tents since 1951. When it became more settled, the tents became too small, so people began building on top of Japanese graves. From Ami-dong, the entire city of Busan can be seen. 4) Haeundae beache - It is the most famous beach in Busan. The white sand beach is roughly 1.5km long, over a 30~50m wide area, creating a beautiful coastline before a shallow bay, making Haeundae Beach perfect for swimming. 5) Dongbakseom island - It is translated into Camellia which is growing in islands of southern provinces and southern coastal areas of Korea blossoming around March, of which the leaves are thick and glossy maintaining a dark green color through 4 seasons. There is the Nurimaru APEC house, around three-story building exclusively built for the final summit meeting for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation conference. 6) Haedongyonggungsa Temple - It is situated on the coast of the northeastern portion of Busan. This superb attraction offers visitors the rare find of a temple along the shoreline; most temples in Korea are located in the mountains. 7) Amidong Tombstone village - The stairs and the walls in this village are different from what you normally see. They are all tombstones. That's why the village is called Tombstone culture village. People began living here in tents since 1951. When it became more settled, the tents became too small, so people began building on top of Japanese graves. People think of the ocean when it comes to Busan, but Busan is also a city of mountains. From Ami-dong, the entire city of Busan can be seen.

Our guide, Steve, was wonderful - carefully attended to our needs (fuzzy blankets on the evening cruise & expert photography especially appreciated!), & spoke excellent English (having mostly grown up & studied in the U.S.). It was great having just a small group (only 2 other solo travelers). While a return visitor could self organize a similar route with taxis or public transportation, this was an excellent option for those of us with limited time & language skills, & I’d engage Steve without hesitation on a future visit!

I booked this tour without thinking too much about it but it happened to be my favourite night in Busan! Our group was small (which is always nice) and our guide Steve was truly the best. And he takes amazing photos so don't worry about your Instagram and just enjoy the view. 10/10 would recommended

This was the only place I could book a night cruise on the day, so it was very helpful. The night view was really beautiful, and I was glad to be able to see the bridge up close. The boat staff and passengers were friendly and fun.

great tour lots of Busan and Korean history, the guide is extremely knowledgeable about the local area details. a great tour to start your visit to Busan!

We really enjoyed learning about the history of the Haeundae area, inc. context from the Korean War and Choi Chi-Won.
