We climb up the Quan Ba mountain pass and enter the Dong Van Geopark and reach the Heaven’s Gate and pass the Fairy Hills. In or around the small town of Tam Son we find our lunch. Thereafter we venture deep into Ha Giang mountains and reach the picturesque village of Du Gia. Here we will stay with an ethnic minority family at their homestay. We will have dinner and breakfast with the family. (Day includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Day 2: Du Gia – Meo Vac – (Ma Pi Leng) – Dong Van – Lung Cu – Dong Van, We say thanks to the family of the homestay and head north, passing some of the most magnificent mountain passes you will ever have seen, pass the town of Meo Vac and move up the majestic Ma Pi Leng mountain pass before reaching Dong Van, the most northern town in Vietnam. Depending on weather we may continue up to Lung Cu, the most northern point of Vietnam. The Lung Cu Flag Tower can be climbed for stunning views. Back to Dong Van where we take into a hotel or homestay as agreed for the tour. Maybe a Hot Pot for dinner?! (Day includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Day 3: Dong Van – Sa Phin – Yen Minh – Tam Son – Ha Giang City, approx. 150 km drive After breakfast, we start our journey south. Soon we reach Sa Phin where we find the one-hundred-year-old palace of Vuong Chinh Duc – the King of H’mong people. We go down the Highland of Stone and reach Yen Minh where we take lunch and then climb a mountain pass covered in pine forest and sweeping rice terraces along our drive. Down to the Song La river valley until the road takes us up to Tam Son, over the Quan Ba mountain pass and back to Ha Giang. Night 1: 7:30 PM - Pick up from your hotel (hostel) in Sapa to get on a big bus and depart for Ha Giang City. Arrive in Ha Giang in the early morning and check in the hostel for a nap. Day 1: Ha Giang - Quan Ba - Yen Minh - Dong Van, approx. 135 km driving (B, L, D) 8:30 AM - After breakfast, Meet the tour guide and easy rider. We will follow the "Happiness Road" and start north out of Ha Giang City. We will climb the Quan Ba - Bac Sum Pass, Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, and reach the Quan Ba Heaven Gate, the mountain observatory is located above a steep zigzag road with a view of the majestic mountains. The landscape is composed of unlimited rice fields. Passing Fairy Hill, we will continue the journey to Yen Minh, climbing a pass covered by pine forest and sweeping the terraces along our driveway we will have lunch here and continue driving to Tham Ma pass which is a winding pass road located on the national highway 4c. Then we reach Sa Phin where we find the one-hundred-year-old palace of Vuong Chinh Duc - King of the H'mong. Going up to Dong Van Town, stopping in Dong Van Old Town we will take you to the ancient Fort that was built by the French. Day 2: Dong Van - Ma Pi Leng - Mau Due - Du Gia, approx. 120km driving (B, L, D) Check out the homestay, have breakfast, and continue the journey to Dong Van market located in the complex of Dong Van Old Town, the largest exchange of goods and culture in the Dong Van rocky plateau. After experiencing Dong Van market we will continue to go through some of the most majestic mountain passes you will ever see, and we will climb the cliff of death, before moving up the Pass “Ma Pi Leng”. Ma Pi Leng Pass becomes the road all trekking lovers want to conquer. At the top of the pass, from Panorama Viewpoint, you can catch the striking appearance of mountains and terrace fields. Below your foot is the Tu San defile, the location all visitors wish to set foot on at least once. After that move to Mau Due where you will enjoy your lunchtime. Go through the rocky mountain passes and rest to admire the wild beauty of the majestic natural mountains. Go deep into the Southern mountains and reach the picturesque Du Gia Village and visit and swim, jumping in a waterfall in the middle of a deep green forest created by nature thousands of years ago. Day 3: Du Gia – Duong Thuong – Thuan Hoa – Ha Giang, approx. 100km driving (B, L) After breakfast, starting to the South, say goodbye to Du Gia, we will pass through the soaring mountains below, Duong Thuong Valley with wide fields and high winding passes. It’s very low and dangerous. The scenery from Thuong Street to Thuan Hoa is very majestic, crossing the pass along the Song Lo Valley to Ha Giang. Your lunch will be served in our hostel after that you can visit the local village near our hostel or take a rest in few hours. The bus will pick up and you will be in Hanoi around midnight. The tour ends in Hanoi.

Heaven’s Gate Quan Ba – Here you can stop and take pictures of the beautiful Nui Doi twin mountains view at the top of the slope. Can Ty Pass – with altitudes of 1000 - 1200 meters above sea level. You can admire the beautiful and majestic scenery. 12:00: Lunch with local food at Yen Minh town. 14:00: Tham Ma Pass – Stop at the top of the slope and enjoy the beautiful slope. 15:00: Visit at Sung La valley and Lung Cam – This is a small village with classic houses of the Hmong people. Typically you can visit the house named after Pao’s house. 17:30: Arrive and check in at a hotel (or homestay) at Dong Van town. Dong Van district is the starting point of Vietnam with a border stretching hundreds of kilometers with China. With a population of mainly ethnic minorities living such as: Hmong, Tay, Nung, Lo Lo, Co Lao, San Chi, San Diu .... but most of them are Hmong (about 70%). 19:00: Have dinner at Hotel. After that you could join Karaoke with Group. Day 2: Dong Van – Meo Vac – Ha Giang City – Hanoi. 07:00: Have breakfast at the local market and a coffee. 08:00: Ma Pi Leng Pass – At an altitude of over 1200 meters above sea level with a beautiful mountain view, below is the Nho Que river. Then this is a great place for sightseeing and taking photos. 09:30: Discover Nho Que river by boat. Then the Meo Vac town. Meo Vac town is a highland district adjacent to the China border. The district has a sparse population and is dominated by the Hmong people, accounting for about 70% of the population. Hmong people have the custom of living on high and dangerous mountain ranges. 11:00: Visit Hmong king’s palace 13:00: Have lunch at Quan Ba town 16:30: Arrive in Ha Giang City.
