What people are saying about Doi Inthanon National Park

We really enjoyed the morning activities of the waterfalls and the Karen village. However, the afternoon dragged out a little with nearly 2 hours at the pagodas. We were informed we could buy lunch here but there was not much on offer so we only really had the option of eating ice cream. I would have preferred to have spent less time here and stopped somewhere for lunch. The highest peak was also a little disappointing as it was just a plaque with no view. They also hadn’t informed us the extra 350 Baht cover charge required for the pagoda.

This was a great tour and Jackie -- a former Buddhist Monk -- was an excellent guide. We learned a tremendous amount from him and enjoyed talking with him, as well as seeing Doi Suthep, a beautiful and beautifully situated temple, and Doi Inathanon, Thailand's highest mountain.

The national Park with its waterfalls and nature truley is a must see in northern Thailand. Our guide Sunny did a great job, drove safely, answered many questions and never pushed us to hurry through any of the sights. We would definitely recommend doing this tour.

Great time with our guide, Jim. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about each stop. We had plenty of time for pictures everywhere. Not strenuous walking, although the high altitude may affect some visitors. Definitely need to bring a jacket for the summit!

Got to see everything we wanted, but would have liked a little more hiking time. The market was fine but nothing special: more of the same touristy markets (though we did find an excellent mango yoghurt smoothie). Might have been better to just go ourselves.
