Omar, our driver picked us up in his SUV from my apartment in West Bay and drove down to sealine. We were glad we had our own private SUV for the ride. Our first stop was to ride a camel, sip karak, and take pictures with a falcon. Dune bashing was lots of fun! We knew we were in good hands with Omar.We made a second stop for fresh air and to over look the inland sea toward Saudi Arabia. It was not raining in the desert, but when we got back to the city it was pouring and the streets were flooded. Omar navigated the back streets and made sure we got home safe and sound! Sukran!

We booked this tour one day in advance and did not have very high expectations for what we were to experience. But the tour was phenomenal and gave a very unique insight to Doha and the Qatari culture. Our guide, Firas, contacted me on WhatsApp only a short time after the booking so we could fix the pick-up. The tour in it self was very nice and took us around the most interesting parts on the city, but I must say that the best part of it was Firas. He was very motivated and had a nice way of explaining everything. Especially, our walking tour in the market was fantastic and we ended up sitting with some Qatari in their shop, drinking coffee and talking about their (and ours) culture and life.

We were a group of 5 (my relatives visiting me in Doha), and took the 4 hr Desert Safari and Camel Ride trip. Mr. Omar was our trip guide and driver, very courteous and friendly person, who gave us experience of a lifetime. He was very professional, right on time and a superb experienced driver. He made sure we start everything as scheduled and planned. He made us feel super safe with him. Even my 12 year old cousin who was in the trip with us was all in praise for him. The vehicle was also in a very good condition. I definitely recommend him and the trip to everyone reading my review. And I would definitely like to go once again for a full trip to get the exceptional experience.

My tourguide was Mr Firas, who makes sure you get to also experience the locals. Very knowledgeable, super friendly, makes sure you get what you want, fluent english. My request was to get an understanding and overall view of Doha with just a 24 hrs stay over. And that was exactly what I got. We first drove to the Islam museum (where I unfortunately only stayed for 30 minutes), then moved on to the modern Doha along the Corniche. Returned to the souk. Experienced a local coffee shop where friendly locals were playing dama. Interesting experience. Very relaxed tour. Well worth the money.

Mr. Amir is a very polite and very competent guide, not only including all the important places in the tour within the stipulated time range, and providing brief introductions, but also attending to my special interest in birds in general and falconry in particular. And the local tea and pastry I tasted were great! A most rewarding experience which I expect to repeat in a future visit.
