Full description

After being collected from the city of Doha, your professional desert safari driver will drive you out of town to begin your desert safari. This tour is for those looking to have a thrilling experience in the desert in the southern part of Qatar. Enjoy a short camel ride and taste local tea as you prepare for an exhilarating off-road ride over the dunes along the coast where the desert meets the beach, all from the highest dunes in the area. Additionally, join an optional sand-boarding activity. This tour will also provide a chance for you to take some fantastic photographs, as you will stop by the beach to dip your feet into the water of the Arabian Gulf. After your desert adventure, return to your point of origin in Doha.

Die Safari war mega klasse. Unser Guide hat mit uns eine sehr aufregende Tour durch die Wüste gemacht inklusive Sandboarden. Die Fahrt vom Schiff bis in die Wüste dauerte ca 1 Stunde. Begonnen wurde mit einem kurzen Ritt auf einem Kamel. Danach ging es für ca 2 Stunden in die Wüste. Es war das Highlight unserer Tour. Anmerken muss ich allerdings, dass die Abholung bzw. der Treffpunkt überhaupt nicht gut kommuniziert wurde, obwohl ich mehrfach darum gebeten hatte. Unser Fahrer wusste von unserer Abholung nichts, obwohl 2 weitere Personen die gleiche Tour und auch den gleichen Abholort gewählt hatten. Durch Hilfe von Personen vor Ort, konnten wir unsere Tour antreten, da sie den Guide zu uns gelotst haben. Die Kommunikation mit Getyourguide war gut aber in diesem Fall zu oberflächlich. Trotzdem kann ich diese Tour sehr empfehlen.
