A glimpse of the Eiffel Tower, outlined romantically against the Paris skyline — that's what you remember after visiting France. If you're looking to photograph Paris to your heart's content, use our short list of great spots in the city to get that breathtaking view (and picture).

To see the Eiffel Tower light show at night, the Trocadero is one of your best location choices. Bonus: the Trocadero is free, and always open.

You need to climb the 284 steps of the Arc de Triomphe to reach the top of this other famous Paris monument, where you’ll be rewarded by one of the most spectacular views in the city.

This 689-foot skyscraper may not be a beautiful building, but the views are worth it. In the Montparnasse Tower you get the second highest view after the Eiffel Tower and 360-degree vistas.

Looking for a romantic Paris date spot? Make a reservation for the terrace at this luxury hotel. Soak in the view, enjoy some champagne, and watch the sunset from the top.

Pont de Bir-Hakeim connects the 15th and 16th arrondissements. This famous bridge offers stunning views of the tower and the Seine—a popular spot for photographers.
As you know, Paris is quite the popular holiday destination. Plan ahead if you want to jump around and see the Eiffel Tower from lots of angles. It's easy to buy tickets online and go straight to the top -- but if you're looking to do Paris on the cheap, remember to plan waiting time at major monuments into your itinerary.
Lots of travelers are looking for a cafe or restaurant nearby these views, where they can relax and regroup away from the crowds. While all the major tourist areas are safe enough, tourists tend to let their guard down as soon as they order a café au lait. As always, zip up your purse and watch out for thieves.

We had Eric as our guide who was exceptional. I'm big on history myself but his knowledge base was fantastic being a local Parisian with great english. The Eiffel Tower is beautiful and the views are stunning. The stairs leading up are no problem and you get the lift to the summit. Meeting point is just outside the airport style entrance. Again Eric was superb and even emailed me and my wife a list of restaurants and pattiseries to visit- which we did!
We booked this option, received instant confirmation and vouchers, and the tour operator was excellent in communicating with us the meeting point and time. We met with a guide just a block from the Eiffel Tower in front of a café and she led us all the way to the entrance and we were allotted as much time as we wanted to spend at the Eiffel Tower. Glad I booked in advance!
Get Your Guide out me out of a right jam as I had incorrectly selected an evening slot. Everything was sorted and the day began right on time at 8:45am. Our tour guide Oscar was super friendly and knowledgable. I would definitely recommend going at this time as you then have the rest of the day to do more sightseeing
Met the guides exactly as instructed. Had a bit of a wait to get through security but it wasn't too bad. The climb was good fun a very doable. Our guide Sophie did a great job keeping entertained during the wait, and gave an excellent brief at both the first and second landings. The view from the summit was amazing.
Tamar was an excellent guide and she provided history & fun facts about the Eiffel Tower! We had a good time climbing the steps to the 2nd platform and then riding the elevator to the top. The views were spectacular and so different from every level. Definitely a memory we will not forget!
