Get ready to board an exclusive private boat and sail for about one hour searching for dolphins, before snorkeling and diving (for these who choose the diving option) in the Kisite marine national park. Kisite Marine national park is the second most famous marine park in the world, after the Australian Marine Park. Start your morning with a local Swahili breakfast offered on board.Explore 30 kilometers of turtles, marine tortoise, bearreeffs, coral reefs and different types of marine fishes. Next sail to Wasisni Island where your lunch of sea food and Swahili dishes will be served. After lunch, you’ll have the option to do a guided tour of the Wasini island and experience the local Swahili culture, visiting the beautiful coral garden, mangrove forest and fishing village to learn more about the Swahili people and their history. Your local guide will give you an in-depth explanation and background throughout the tour. Alternatively, you can relax at the restaurant, enjoying the sea view and the breeze. Once you are done with the island tour, board the boat and back to the mainland where you will take a guided tour of the Shimoni Slave Caves. Then, start the journey back to your accommodation. The tour normally ends at around 3:30pm.

Drive to Wasini Island along Mombasa – Lunga Lunga highway, a distance of 45 km to the south of Diani, arriving at around 8.30 am at the Shimoni KWS for ticketing then we start the boat ride for one hour searching for dolphins. We have a light breakfast, fruit, and some soft drinks onboard. Sail to Kisite Marine National Park where you will snorkel and swim for 1 to 2 hrs. Afterward, we sail back to Wasini Island for lunch mainly seafood and Swahili dishes (we have an option for the non-seafood that is vegetarian/ chicken). After lunch, you can have a village walk for about 30 minutes on the Island and then sail back to Shimoni jetty arriving at around 3:30 pm. We then proceed to Shimoni Slave caves just 200m from Shimoni jetty. Learn the history of slavery in the area while touring the cave. The cave stop takes between 20 and 30 minutes. Then you drive back to your hotel arriving at around 5:00 pm.

Day 1: Mombasa / Diani- Tsavo East You will be picked from your Hotel at 5.00am in the morning, drive along Mombasa Nairobi highway and arrive at Bachuma gate at around 9:00 am. Here you will begin your game watch. Visit various places including Aruba Dam (the waterhole built by british Army 1952 during Colonial time.) After the game drive, you will check in at the Lodge in time for lunch. After lunch you will relax till 4 :00 pm and then begin an evening game drive until sundown. Later is dinner and overnight stay at Voi Safari lodge. Day 2: Tsavo East – Mombasa, Diani Beach Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast then checkout, proceed with a game drive enroute to the gate. Then exit and start the drive to Diani or the airport . You will arrive in the afternoon which marks the end of the tour.

Experience the vibrant atmosphere and maybe try some street food from the local vendors. 11 am: Fort Jesus Museum Proceed to Fort Jesus, a fascinating UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the museum located within the fort, which showcases artefacts and exhibits detailing the history of Mombasa. Learn about the Portuguese and Arab influences and the fort's role in the region's maritime trade. 12:30 pm: Mombasa Old Town Next, venture into the historic Mombasa Old Town. Take a guided walking tour through its narrow streets lined with Swahili-style architecture, vibrant markets, and colourful buildings. Immerse yourself in the cultural heritage, visit local shops, and learn about the traditions and customs of the area. 1:30 pm: Optional Lunch in Old Town Take a break for lunch in one of the local restaurants in Mombasa Old Town. Indulge in traditional Swahili cuisine, such as biryani, pilau, or fresh seafood dishes. Enjoy the flavours while taking in the ambiance of this charming neighbourhood. 3 pm: Haller Park Tour After lunch, head to Haller Park, a unique wildlife sanctuary and nature reserve. Explore the park's trails, where you can encounter giraffes, zebras, hippos, and a variety of bird species. Take a guided tour to learn about the conservation efforts and the park's reforestation projects. 5 pm: Return to your hotel Bid farewell to Mombasa's attractions as you travel back to your hotel. Take this time to relax, reflect on the day's experiences, and appreciate the beauty of the city.

Day 1 You will be picked up from your beach hotel in the early morning hours and depart by road to Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. You will enjoy an amazing game drive along the way. Upon arrival at Taita Hills Lodge, you will have lunch, relax for a while and then head out for a game drive in the sanctuary searching for lion and other wildlife, until sunset. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay at Salt Lick Lodge or taita hills lodge or similar. This lodge is especially memorable for its imaginative structure. A complex of rondavel sit on stilts over a series of water holes. These two-story towers, topped by peaked thatch roofs connected by open-air-bridges, create an African fantasy of a medieval fortress. The lodge has been built with game viewing in mind. The structure provides you will a panoramic view of the sanctuary; offering spectacular views of the landscape and wildlife. Dinner and overnight at salt lick lodge or taita hills lodge or similar. Day 2: Enjoy an early morning breakfast and then depart for a half day game drive. Around noon you will depart for Mombasa, taking part in a game drive and lunch along the way. Upon arrival in Mombasa, you will be dropped off at your beach hotel. This is where your safari will end.

About Shiba Hills National Reserve: Shimba Hills National Reserve is a small National Reserve in Kwale County 33 km south of Mombasa. The reserve still maintains undisturbed areas of coastal rainforest, woodland and grassland. It is referred to as the "Paradise of the Sable antelope". Shimba Hills also hosts the highest density of African elephants in Kenya. Shiba Hills is Managed by the government body that manages protected areas. You will Marvel at various species of Flora and Fauna, including the Sable antelope, elephant shrew, bushy-tailed mongoose, and other small mammals like fruit bats. Other Animals you expect to see and learn about include: heartbeats, black and white monkeys, buffalos, giraffes, and impalas. For bird lovers, you will experience a rich forest birdlife while the grasslands hold localized species such as red-necked-Spur fowl, Croaking Cisticola, and Zanzibar Red Bishop. Detailed Itinerary 1: Booking. Once you book this tour, we will reach you via WhatsApp or via the booking portal to confirm your booking and record any special request you may have. 2: Pick up. You will be picked up from the doorstep of your accommodation in Diani. Since the pick-up will be early in the morning, and you may not have had a proper breakfast, we encourage you to ask your hotel to pack for you some snacks (Apple fruit, Banana, Fruit Juice, grapes, etc.) just in case your sugar levels go down during your game drive. 3. Drive to Shimba Hills. Your journey takes approximately 50 Minutes. The guide will explain to you some interesting things along the way and their cultural significance to the local people. You will pass by some old shopping centers, villages, and hilly landscapes. The road is generally smooth and you do not need to worry about your safety. 4. Arrival and ticketing You will have an easy arrival process, courtesy of booking this tour. Your guide will help you collect your tickets which are included in your tour with ease, avoiding some queues that are often seen during rush hours. You will then start your game drive. 5. Experience Upon clearing with the ticket office. You will start with the game Driver. You will have a chance to see the browsers in their natural settings. At 10:00, you will have your Sheldrick Falls. which is 5 km to and fro. You must be attached to the guide. You will have a chance to swim in the waterfalls or Bath in clear waters. After the game drive, you will take part in a community-based ecotourism site run by Shifoga (https://shifoga.or.ke), outside the park. You will enjoy village excursions, butterfly conservation, a nature trail, cultural demos, etc. At: 13:00, you will then go to Lunch either in Green Lodge (outside the park) or Shimba Lodge (outside the park) which is approximately (20 USD).
