Everything was great. The park is recommended for one to two hours. You are led through the park with a guide, accompanied by zebras, warthogs and ostriches. At the end you get to feed the giraffes.

A dream come true! This experience is just incredible from start to finish. The driver and guide are very kind and create a great atmosphere from the start! Full description

We pick up guests from Diani beach at 10:00, and drive to the bora bora wildlife sanctuary which takes about 20 minutes drive. You will then arrive, check in at the park and have a brief history of the 31 acres sanctuary. The guide will then walk you around the park seeing animals and appreciating the importance of conservation. It takes about 2 hours to go round the park and during this time you will have an opportunity to feed the giraffes, zebras, warthogs, monitor lizards, wild boars, hinge backed tortoise and also see some birds like the Maasai ostriches, and peacocks. You will be transferred back to your hotel by 1pm.

It was just disappointing. The animals are kept in enclosures that are far too small and some of them have behavioral problems. The giraffes are so emaciated that you can clearly see their bones in their necks. It was depressing, oppressive, and a terrible experience, especially after a safari in Tsavo National Park. We wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. The booking stated that the tour would last one day, and I thought we would be visiting some kind of national park. The driver informed us that the entire trip, including transportation from the hotel and back, would take two hours. The cost was 170 EUR (!!!) for two people, which is absolutely outrageous. I will definitely consult my lawyer about this matter upon my return to Germany.

As stated in the tour description, our animal sanctuary is a protected environment where the animals are kept in enclosures, well cared for, and fed on a generous 31 acres of land. Unlike the wild animals in Tsavo, our animals are domesticated and live in a controlled environment.
