What People Are Saying About Deutsches Museum
Compared to 35 years ago the visits to these castles have changed from a winter wonderland wander of discovery to an example of German airport style crowd control. Still worth it
This was a really informative, interesting tour that I went on with my 17yr old son from New Zealand. He also found it very interesting and well done. The tour guide, Eric, was excellent. He had an amazing knowledge base and was very good in his presentation of the information. It was a very moving experience. We were pleased to see this important memorial and recognise that it is important for people to remember the past so that history is never repeated. One thing I found very hard though were people taking smiling selfies in front of the gate sign "Work sets you free" and the other sculpture. Photos of the memorial are fine, but really having a photo taken smiling in front of a place of death and misery seems very inappropriate.
The tour was well planned with adequate time for pictures, food, browsing. I would highly recommend.
Very well organised, Ursula our tour guide was very friendly and her knowledge was outstanding. The coach was very comfortable and the driver was very friendly. The castles were beautiful and the tours were very well organised.
This was a great value-for-money trip to three 'must see' iconic venues in Bavaria, with Neuschwanstrein castle being the star of the show. The coach was comfortable and well equipped and the guide kept us well informed throughout the trip.
