Way to Saint Marie: ''Death in Paradise'' Show Locations

Excellent tour!! Our guide (Kinga) was very knowledgeable, as she had previously worked on the set. The different locales were all beautiful. Two disappointing aspects, which were out of Kinga's control: we stopped for drinks at Catherine's Bar and the owner/manager would not let us sit at the waterside tables because we weren't buying lunch. We had to sit in the bar area across the road, which was fine. I suppose it's understandable, but she was VERY rude about it. I wouldn't have bought a drink at all due to that, but we wanted to have a drink at Catherine's Bar, so we went ahead - and the young woman behind the bar was lovely. The other negative was that the fee to enter the police station "museum" was crazy - 15 euros per person - especially since it's essentially an office with desks, chairs, and file cabinets, just like on TV (we peeked through the shutters). No one on our tour went in. It was still very cool to see from the outside. Still, I highly recommend this tour.

Kinga has a first hand knowledge of the production process and took us on a tour of some of the locations used for many scenes. We felt we had a real and sensitive look behind the scenes of the show. Her local knowledge was also willingly shared. We had a great time immersed in a favourite TV show
