Enjoy a leisurely drive tour through the lush forests of the Guadeloupe National Park. Keep an eye out for the highest point in the park, the summit of La Soufrière, an active volcano. Stop and enjoy a typical Caribbean meal at a local restaurant before continuing to the plantation.  Meet passionate and knowledgable locals who will teach you the history and traditions of coffee plantations in the area. Visit your choice of a coffee plantation or a rum distillery of a Creol garden with the locals before passing by the golden-sand beaches of North Basse-Terre.
