The tour guide (Nick) was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He provided excellent recommendations, offered to take pictures and made extra stops for us to see more. The trip in itself is great, we saw the Lily Lake, stopped to eat lunch at our own pace and then ventured into the beautiful Rocky Mtns forest. Overall it is a great trip especially in winters where you can sit back and enjoy the snowy scenes and hear all about your surroundings from a great guide!

Full description

The trip kicks off with a scenic drive from Boulder or Denver to the world-famous Red Rocks Amphitheater where you get to enjoy the rock formations of the park and the amphitheater, a national historic landmark and one of the greatest music venues in the world. We’ll continue our trip to Lookout Mountain, with some of the best views of the Rocky Mountains, Great Plains, and Denver. From there, we’ll take the Lariat Loop National Scenic Byway into Golden, a charming town nestled at the foot of the Rocky Mountains where you have time to enjoy a local coffee shop or craft brewery, or stroll along Clear Creek Trail.

  • If the weather is too bad or if it is too dangerous to drive some of the scenic roads, the guide will change the tour route

  • Please note that it is a possibility in the winter that the visibility is limited due to snow. We are flexible with our cancellation policy if snow is in the forecast and are happy to reschedule if the weather looks better on another day
