Denver Botanic Gardens at York Street presents a wide range of gardens and collections on 24 acres that illustrate an ever-widening diversity of plants from all corners of the world. Distinctive gardens define and celebrate a Western identity and a unique high-altitude climate and geography. Don't miss the Freyer – Newman Center. The Center is a physical manifestation of the Gardens’ celebration of the fusion of science and art. The Center houses the Helen Fowler Library, the Sturm Family Auditorium, art galleries, herbaria, classrooms, the School of Botanical Art & Illustration and the Copper Door Coffee Roasters coffee shop. The Gardens’ holdings are unique because horticulture, plant conservation and preservation, mycology, and art unite to document human relationships with these elements and the larger environment. Housing each of these programmatic elements in a single facility makes these assets more accessible to the public.

Visiting the Denver Botanic Gardens. The place is beautifully maintained with a wide variety of plants and flowers. It’s a great spot to relax, take a walk, and enjoy nature. The gardens are well-organized, and there’s something to see around every corner. The staff were friendly and helpful too. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful escape in the city!

One of the best gardens I’ve been to. Very beautifully displayed plants and spacious so definitely gives you the time to enjoy without a large crowd.

We loved this option. We opted to do the nature and science museum and the aquarium and it was so much fun! Glad we did the city pass!

Very beautiful plants. The sculptures are unusual and well integrated. We had a lovely time.

Oh it was amazing def going back when warmer and everything is in full bloom.
