Things to do in Denarau Island

Pick up was very easy (but I didn’t get confirmation of time until I asked ), wish vehicle was bit larger for big groups - we had someone with a wheelchair and got a little crowded. Transport was efficient but driver could have music or commentary during ride. The location of event was well laid out with drinks (extra) and toilets. Guide outlined evening schedule and we got to see different parts of a village and ask questions. I particularly liked going in the chief hut and seeing/touching the old weapons. Food was good but is perhaps missing a central dish presentation- we saw them unearth some food but that uniqueness didn’t really transition to the buffet. Dances were very interesting and of course the fire dances were special. There was some ask of audience participation which was okay in parts but also a bit awkward. Enjoyed trying the kava and overall it was a fun and energetic evening.
