Full description

Begin a guided and narrated 100-mile round trip Jeep excursion along a gravel road flanked by snow-capped mountains, icy glaciers, and panoramic vistas. The Denali Highway, once the gateway to Denali National Park is an exhilarating drive and wildlife viewing opportunity.

Climb aboard a new, 4-door Jeep that hugs the dirt road, while comfortably seating 4 adults who can trade off driving. Each Jeep has a CB radio for communicating with the guide so stops can be made whenever desired.

As driving the Denali Highway is prohibited by most rental vehicle companies, this exclusive excursion provides access to more of Alaska's spectacular scenery and wildlife and is a great alternative to crowded bus trips. The tour lasts approximately 4 hours.

The guides are friendly and easy to talk to. The only thing I wish was different was the start time of the last tour. 6:30p start to 10:30p finish and by the time we are back to our cars it’ll already be 11p. So make sure to eat before cause everything closes at 11p.

It was a lot of fun! !! You can drive by yourself. I went to the end, but I was able to drive at the beginning on the way back. If you are thinking of participating from Japan, I think it will be a great memory if you get an international driver's license and participate. All car rental companies haven't been able to rent a car at SOLD OUT for 2 months, but thanks to this tour I was able to drive in a wonderful view! The weather was very nice and it was a hot day, so I could see the mountain scenery very beautifully! !! Unfortunately I couldn't see the animals because they were hot and cool, but I'm very happy with the amazing scenery! !!

Rachel was an awesome guide! We did see some moose off in the distance, and learned a good deal about Alaskan wildlife, but unfortunately - as is the case with wildlife - they were fickle and would scurry across the road so only the up front jeeps might see them. We DID see a lynx as we were driving back to our Airbnb though.
