Enjoy the stunning aerial views of the Denali National Park on a scenic helicopter flight. Land on the imposing Yanert Glacier and admire the snow-capped peaks and rolling tundra.

Your adventure begins at the private heliport. Enjoy 50 minutes of helicopter time and upon lift-off, be amazed by the vastness of the Denali National Preserve. On your way to the Yanert Glacier, your pilot will serve as your guide through this unique glacially-carved environment.

Soar over the rolling tundra, keeping an eye out for local wildlife species below including caribou, moose, bear, and Dall sheep. Admire the sight of snow-capped peaks and glaciers.


Land on the Yanert Glacier and enjoy 20 minutes of glacial exploration with fantastic photo opportunities. Afterward, fly back to the starting point.

Know before you go

  • A child does not need their own seat if they are below 24 months old on the day of the tour. A child under 2 years of age is considered a lap child and takes part in the tour free of charge. A parent or guardian is responsible for holding the child securely for the entire tour
  • Due to liability reasons, employees cannot lift guests in or out of the helicopter. Staff will be there to lend a helping hand, though ultimately guests are responsible for navigating these steps on their own
  • Due to weight and balance limitations, as well as guest safety and comfort, passengers weighing 250 pounds (113kg or 18 Stone) or more will be charged an additional $130.00 to reserve adequate space onboard the helicopter. Total weight includes shoes and clothing. The surcharge must be paid at the time of booking.

Hands-down, the best thing was time spent on the glacier. It is a movie experience unlike anything I’ve seen or done before. is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes! What would I do differently? Or time walking around the glacier once you arrive.
