This tour covers two of Cape Town's best wine making regions will start with a pickup from your accommodation in Cape town. From your accommodation, you will travel on the. Upon Arrival in Stellenbosch, you will have a chance to get off the vehicle and discover the town on foot. You may also want to take this opportunity to grab a coffee and absorb the town's vibrant energy before you move on to your first wine tasting experience of the day. After exploring Stellenbosch, the next stop will be at Lanzerac wine estate for your chocolate and wine tasting pairing experience of the day. Lanzerac is one of the oldest wine estates in Stellenbosch and here you will enjoy a unique tasting of 5 Premium wines paired perfectly with a selection of artisanal chocolates. From Lanzerac, you will drive up and down the Hell's heights pass to Tokara. The wine tasting here consist of 5 classic wines including a Rose and one of the best Carbert Sauvignon in the area. The deep rich soils consisting of decomposed granite, weathered sandstone affords Tokara the privilege to grow individual batches that are then blended to make top tier wines. After your second wine tasting experience, the journey will take us to Franschhoek town via the historic town of Pniel. Franschhoek, meaning the French's corner, is surrounded by mountains and manicured vineyards on all sides. You will have a lunch break here and you may also want to take this opportunity to explore the shops. Same as in Stellenbosch, here one may find art stores, jewelry stores, fine leather stores, clothing stores or even fine chocolate factories! Soon after the lunch break and the exploration of Franschhoek, the tour will make a headway for the Franschhoek terminals for your second leg of the wine tasting experience by tram. It usually takes about 8 minutes for the tram to travel between farms and you may hope off at a farm of your choice among the list of farms provided on your route. Two would be the maximum number of farms that you can visit by tram but you may also do a third one, time permitting. Your first possible stop by tram would be at the first female owned farm in Franschhoek, Rickety bridge. Here you will be more than welcome to choose any of the available wine tasting options. You may also opt out of the wine tasting and instead seat at Paulina's restaurant and enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains and the vineyards of the Franschhoek valley. Franschhoek cellar offers a unique wine and cheese or handmade Belgian chocolate parings. A traditional wine only tasting is also available should that be a better choice for you. On our way back to Cape town, you will have an opportunity to stop at a prison where Nelson Mandela spent the last 2 years of his 27 years in incarceration. A Lifesize bronze statue of him stands just outside the prison gates with his fist clenched into the air as if to symbolize strength and courage.

After you have been picked up from your hotel, we will drive North East out of Cape Town. We will pass some of the most well known Townships in the country and have an interesting discussion of the daily lifestyle of the local people in the townships. Next we will turn of to Stellenbsoch, the Cape Wine Region. Afterwards we will drive through the town of Stellenbosch. Known to be the second oldest town in the country. As we drive through this town, it gives one a nostalgia feeling of how the early people used to live here, with the Cape Dutch houses with its Thatched roof, the oak trees on either side of the road, and the Gutters on the side of the road. Next it will be Wine O Clock. Then we will go to our first wine tasting, Delaire Graff. Known to be the Jewel of the Winelands. Lastly, we will do a second wine tasting at Marianne, where they believe red wine goes good with Biltong' South African term for Jerkey, dried meat' Guest are welcome to order a Cheese platter with their wine tastings. Finally, we will head back to Cape Town

Start with a town orientation tour of Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa. The first wine-tasting stop will be at the Delaire Graff Wine Estate. Known as the Jewel of the Cape Winelands, Delaire Graff is not only famous for its award-winning wines, but also for its views and Instagrammable photo spots. Taste five premium wines. From there, drive to the Tokara Wine Estate. Tokara prides itself in producing world-class red wines, award-winning olive oil, and sweeping views of the Stellenbosch Winelands. Here you'll taste up to four premium wines. Next, visit Delheim Wine Estate for lunch and a third wine tasting. Enjoy a main course with premium wine outside on the terrace (inside the restaurant in winter) at the garden restaurant overlooking the lush green gardens. Choose your main course meal from a selection of meat, poultry, fish, or vegetarian options. Additional Wines, soft drinks, and/or any other courses from the menu are available for purchase. Water for the table is included. Your final wine-tasting stop will be at one of the most popular wine-tasting destinations in the Cape Winelands, the Fairview Wine Estate. Taste up to six types of red and white wines paired with six carefully selected types of cheese. In between, choose to make an optional brief stop in front of the Drakenstein Correctional Center (formerly Victor Verster Prison) to take a photo of the Nelson Mandela monument. The tour culminates with a drive through the town of Franschhoek, known as the food and wine capital of South Africa. It's home to some of the finest restaurants and wine estates in the country. Learn about the French influence on the Cape Winelands and stop at the French Huguenot Monument for photos. Afterward, head back to Cape Town and get dropped off at your accommodation.

Our tour will start with a pickup from your hotel and head straight to Stellenbosch district for your balloon flight where you will enjoy splendid views of the entire winelands' terrain and Table Mountain. With nobody knowing the landing location! We will keep in touch with your pilot to arrange your pick-up at the end of the balloon flight and drive you to the starting point for your breakfast. After the all-inclusive breakfast, the tour will go straight into Stellenbosch for an orientation of one of South Africa's most historic towns. From Lanzerac, we will drive over the hilly and winding Hells-heights pass to get to Delaire Graff wine estate. Perched up on the eastern slopes of the Botmanskop hill, Delaire Graff enjoys uninterrupted views of the Drakenstein mountains and the Banhoek valley. Bronze sculptures by world renown artist such as Delan Lewis give you a guard of honour from the gate to the tasting room entry where stunning paintings graces the walls. Complementing the stunning landscape and well-designed buildings are the award-winning wines that you will taste here. The vineyards in the Banhoek valley enjoys a south-east facing slope that is cool in the mornings but has adequate solar radiation through the day and thus producing some of the best cabs in the area. Here you will try 3 white wines, 3 red wines and a rose. You have an option to break for lunch after Delaire graff and your guide will be able to recommend a restaurant of your choice. We are also more than happy to make lunch reservations for you well in advance. Later in the afternoon, our tour will go around the Drakenstein mountains to Franschhoek. Formerly known as the Elephant's corner, due to the many herds of elephants that once roamed this area before the arrival of the French farmers from Europe. Today Franschhoek is a top destination for visitors from all over the world. The vineyards are manicured to perfection, and the hotel and restaurant service is so extravagant in this town that one wonders if anyone is making a profit. Some believes that Franschhoek is one tiny millionaire's hobby place! Your guide will again allow you time to explore the town on foot before your last tasting at Dieu Donne. The wines here ranges from new styled wines to old, styled reds that competes very well with some of the best wines out of Bordeaux. After your final tasting, your tour will head back to Cape town to be dropped off at your hotel.
