I had a great afternoon visiting the Stellenbosch wineries with my guide Leticia. Since I was the only one booked, I was able to chat freely with her and get a lot of information about life and culture in the region. First, I was able to spend 20 minutes exploring the town of Stellenbosch before heading to the wineries. We started at the Delaire Graff winery which is the jewel of the region's wineries where I was able to taste signature wines with an excellent cheese platter. It was a high-end winery with a great view of the mountain. Then, we went to discover the 2nd winery: Marianne. I was able to taste wines with a biltong pairing for a very reasonable price. This 2nd winery was more private and quiet, perfect for a late afternoon. Finally, we headed back to the town centre with a view of a beautiful sunset over the mountain!

The wine tour with Doney was fantastic from start to finish! She is a very funny and entertaining person who told us a lot about Cape Town, life in South Africa and of course the wine. She was very attentive to our needs and we really enjoyed the tour. I would recommend her to everyone!
