Learn to surf in Monterey with experienced instructors. Receive all necessary equipment including wetsuits, comfort-fit booties, and a range of boards suited for all experience levels.  Choose between the following: Private Single Lesson Benefit from one-on-one instruction so you can quickly learn and apply the fundamentals of surfing. Discover optimal positioning, paddling, and pop up form. Enjoy a demonstration on the beach, followed by plenty of practice time on the water. Knowledge of surfer etiquette, board selection, reading surf reports, and oceanography will also be discussed. After completing their first lesson, you should be able to rent or purchase equipment and surf with confidence. Private Group Lesson (2-4 people) Choose this option to learn to surf as a group with your family or friends. Enjoy a similar lesson structure as the private single lesson, where you will cover all the basics. Watch a quick demonstration on the beach followed by some extended time on the waves with instructor guidance and supervision. Large Group (5+ people) The large group option is a wonderful way for large parties to experience surfing and also have access to additional equipment. Receive training with additional instructors involved to facilitate safety, guidance, and supervision at all times. Spend most of the lesson in the water so all participants have a chance to practice on the waves.

Legendary for it's beauty, 17-mile Drive meanders up and down the hills of Pebble Beach, past amazing mansions and it's famous golf courses. We start on the Monterey Coastal Rec Trail on Cannery Row (near the Monterey Bay Aquarium) and follow Oceanview Blvd through the Marine Garden's Park all the way to Bird Rock in Pebble Beach. This tour takes a slow pace, winding along the rugged coastline stopping at all the amazing viewpoints. Our local guides share their knowledge of the area's unique ocean wildlife and iconic landmarks. 16 mi. round trip, approx 3 hrs. Min. height 4'10"; Max. weight 350lb. Alternating between separated bike lanes & road shared with vehicles (25 mph speed limit), we recommend "youth" riders be ages 12+ to ride solo. Parents may book a bike for ages 12+ if their child is over 4'10" and experienced enough to handle a heavy, powerful eBike. The "child" rate is for children between 40 lb. & 120 lb. riding tandem with a parent on a cargo e-bike.

After requesting your rental, meet your guide at the company truck to pick up your rental equipment. Please note that you require a vehicle that can carry your rental equipment to and from the beach. Soft racks that attach to most vehicles for an additional $10 are available, and if you do not have a vehicle capable of using the soft racks, there is an additional $20 fee to have the equipment picked up and dropped off from one of the 5 beaches listed. If the local partner's truck is already at the beach where a customer wants to surf, there is no delivery fee or pickup fee (provided the truck is still there when you are finished with the equipment). If only a pickup is required because the truck has left before rental equipment is returned, then the additional fee drops to $10. All equipment must be returned in similar condition as it was when rented. Additional fees for wetsuits with rips or tears, and boards with cracks, chucks, missing fins, missing leashes, or complete breaks, will be assessed and charged accordingly.
