Leave your hotel to visit the Baptist site, 55 kilometers away. Visit the baptism sight, located on the east side of the Jordanian River, recognized by the Vatican during the visit of John Paul II in 2000 to be the official baptism sight of Jesus Christ and a very important pilgrimage area to visit. This tour is very special to many people and will relate to individual faiths and beliefs. Baptisms and re-baptisms can be organized as a symbol of one's faith. This area is not only associated with Christianity, but also with the three divine religions: Jewish, Christian, and Islam with the ascension of the Prophet Elijah into heaven. You will then head to the lowest point on earth, 400 meters beneath sea level. The Dead Sea is probably one of the most incredible places in the world. It is known from the biblical story of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorra, which was turned into salt. The Dead Sea speaks for itself -  there are no living fish. It is by far one of Jordan’s most impressive and spectacular places to visit. Its calm shining water glowing from its scorching sun is known for its concentration of salt and minerals, which makes it a therapeutic and unique swimming experience not to be missed! Once your day tour has finished you will be returned to your hotel.

Excursion: Pick up from Aqaba - Dead Sea Spa (floating & lunch) - Aqaba for drop off Start your tour with a convenient pickup from your accommodation in Aqaba. Meet your English-speaking driver and set off in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle on a 3.5-hour drive to the Dead Sea. Along the way, stop to take photos at Lots Wife's Pillar, a pillar of salt with religious significance and the bottom of Wadi Mujib, an impressive river canyon which flows into the Dead Sea. Arrive at the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth at 420 meters below sea level. Enjoy the unique opportunity to float in the mineral-rich waters of this salt lake. Coat your skin in the therapeutic black mud found in tubs along the shore.  After this, head into the 4-star Dead Sea Spa Hotel to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. You can make use of the changing room and shower facilities here and will be provided with towels.  In the afternoon, return to the vehicle and take the transfer back to Aqaba where you will be dropped off back at your accommodation and the tour concludes.
