The castle is accessible by public transportation: take bus 127 from Vleuten station to the stop "Brink Haarzuilens" and walk in 15 minutes to the castle. You can also reach the castle by car (paid parking for 6 euros per day) or by bicycle. During the summer months, take bus 111 from Vleuten Station to the stop "Kasteel de Haar, Haarzuilens" and walk in 2 minutes to the castle (bus 111 is only available on Saturdays and Sundays). You can also opt for a rental e-bike or rental scooter from Utrecht Central (10 km) or from Vleuten station (3 km).

Visiting Castle de Haar was amazing, the castle and grounds are beautiful and the self guided tour was great! The only issue is that it is a little difficult to get there from Amsterdam city center, other than that it was wonderful!
