    The castle is accessible by public transportation: take bus 127 from Vleuten station to the stop "Brink Haarzuilens" and walk in 15 minutes to the castle. You can also reach the castle by car (paid parking for 6 euros per day) or by bicycle. During the summer months, take bus 111 from Vleuten Station to the stop "Kasteel de Haar, Haarzuilens" and walk in 2 minutes to the castle (bus 111 is only available on Saturdays and Sundays). You can also opt for a rental e-bike or rental scooter from Utrecht Central (10 km) or from Vleuten station (3 km).

    This is a BEAUTIFUL castle. SO ornately detailed. 10000 times worth the visit! Try to go for the Christmas Festival/Market. The employees at the Castle are amazingly knowledgeable and passionate about sharing the history with you. Kind and friendly. FIVE star experience.

    The place is magical. I waited for so long to get to there. The way is complicated by public transportation, but I enjoyed the way itself! You get there by taking a bus and then walking in such a beautiful village. After the castle it’s very easy and recommended to go travel at Utrecht.

    We did this tour as a stop over during a drive from Amsterdam to Brussels. We loved this place. Easy to get into. We chose just to walk through on our own. There were guides around the property to provide information and context. Loved the history and connection with the rich and famous. Spectacular inside and out.
