Interesting, interactive and very informative museum!

Very interesting museum, I recommend everyone who comes to Berlin to visit it! Beside high level of interactivity which I liked, the museum is also very informative so everyone who wants to learn more about how living in Easter Germany was during the cold war should not miss this landmark. And buying online tickets definitely pays off since the line in front of the museum can be quite long. This was the most crowded place I visited in Berlin so it really tells you something the value of the place.

Be prepared for the museum to be a bit crowded if going on a weekday when school is in session. we had a few school groups to contend with but the skip-the-line tickets were a big game changer and the museum itself was really interesting, fun, and very worth it! takes about an hour to complete, maybe more if you're stopping to read every single thing in depth, but we saw everything and read a lot and were out in about an hour. Really enjoyed it and would really recommend!

My only advice would be to try to skip going on public holidays as it becomes super crowded and since it is such an interactive museum, you'll be waiting 10 minutes for each little thing and more like 40 for bigger "attractions". Definitely detracts from the experience but otherwise I really liked it!

Really interesting museum! Has a ton of interactive experiences that’s good for all ages. I spent about 3 hours here looking at all of the exhibits within the museum. Also in a great location across from the Berliner Dome so you can get that great photo opp afterwards! Would recommend!
