Switzerland: Private nature safari with local guide. Discover the Alps, lakes, and more.

Switzerland: Private nature safari with local guide. Discover the Alps, lakes, and more.

Experience Switzerland's nature up close. On a private nature safari with an experienced nature guide. Hardly any other country in Europe offers such ecological diversity in such a small area as Switzerland. Rugged Alpine peaks, tranquil lakes, dense forests, flowering dry meadows, and wild river valleys alternate in a very small area. This diversity makes Switzerland a paradise for nature observation. From rare alpine plants to impressive wildlife. Whether golden eagles, chamois, squirrels, deer, or rare migratory and breeding birds, there are fascinating species to discover in every region. Spring and summer entice visitors with colorful alpine flora and lively bird activity, autumn reveals golden forests and wildlife, and even in winter, with a little luck, you can follow exciting animal tracks in the snow or observe water birds in peace on the lakes. The tours are led by Michel Hänggi, a field ornithologist, nature expert, and ranger with over 20 years of experience. With professional expertise, passion, and a trained eye, he will show you the hidden treasures of nature and provide exciting insights into the interrelationships between habitats. It's not just about observing, but about understanding and marveling. Possible regions (optional): – Alpine region (e.g., Bernese Oberland, Valais, Central Switzerland) – Pre-Alps and lake landscapes (e.g., Lake Zurich, Lake Constance, Lake Lucerne) – Jura with its forests and limestone cliffs – Wetlands, floodplains, and bird migration areas in the Swiss Plateau I would be happy to advise you on choosing a suitable area, depending on your interests, the season, and your desired region. Schedule and duration: – Half-day tour: up to 3 hours – Full-day tour: up to 6 hours – The tours are on foot and are individually tailored to the terrain and the wishes and fitness level of the participants. – The starting time is flexible. These private nature tours are for everyone! Whether you are a beginner, nature lover, family, or passionate birdwatcher, you will enjoy them. Photography enthusiasts will also get their money's worth, as we deliberately take time for good observations. Booking information: Please indicate your desired location or region when booking. If you are unsure, I will be happy to advise you personally on recommended destinations.

The scenery was stunning and learning about the history of different towns was so interesting. The staff was very knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous. Staff was good about keeping us informed every step of the way. It would be good to monitor the bathroom. It ran out of both toilet paper and hand towels. As a person who has hearing impairment, it would be good to have special audio and/or noise cancelling earphones. A large and noisy family boarded and was very disturbing to both the workers and the passengers. It made it hard to hear the history or to enjoy that part of the ride. It would be good to know the situation at Zermatt- that it is pedestrian only and one has to plan in time to park.

It's pretty safe and you don't have to worry about buying tickets for each journey anymore. The process is simple, they send you an email with all the instructions, you activate your pass, and that's it. You just show the PDF during each journey and enjoy the views of Switzerland.
