Your Top End adventure begins with pickups in the city at your accommodation doorstep before heading out for an early morning dip and morning tea in the crystal clear thermal waters of Berry Springs. Paddle around and watch the many fish, look for turtles, or sit casually under the waterfall - it's your decision to make. Having set the tone for the day it is then off to Litchfield National Park. Visit those that shine for you on the day and suit the guests on board the most. You guided will tweak the schedule to bring you the best that is on offer on the day. Some of the gems include the iconic Cathedral and Magnetic Termite mounds, Wangi Falls, Tolmer Falls, Florence Falls, Buley Rockhole, Cascades, Green, Ant, and Tabletop Wetland. There is also ample opportunity to go for short strolls or just sit and relax. If bush survival is of interest to you, you can be shown some of the native plants and their uses by knowledgeable guides.

DAY 1 - FOGG DAM / KAKADU NATIONAL PARK TOUR An early morning start gets us out to greet the sunrise on the dynamic Adelaide River floodplains. Nearby is the enigmatic Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve. On display here is a massive variety of birdlife, reptiles, mammals and more across wetlands, floodplains, woodlands and monsoonal forest. Enjoy breakfast with the birds and coffee with the critters! Moving on, our destiny takes us to the edge of Kakadu and Arnhem Land and the award winning Guluyambi Culture Cruise for 90 minutes of wildlife spotting, indigenous culture instructions and anecdotes from a local aboriginal guide. Bare in mind to keep your hands in the boat as this river has one of the highest populations of estuarine crocodiles in the world. Surviving this enjoy lunch overlooking infamous Cahills Crossing before venturing to our accommodation for the evening and a short break. Freshen up, go for a swim in the pool or take a short nap … your time to relax. Late in the afternoon we meander down to Nawurlanja for a visual treat as the setting sun explodes off the ancient Arnhem escarpment in shades of ochre. Returning to Jabiru for dinner at the inhouse restaurant (Thai). DAY 2 - KAKADU NATIONAL PARK TOUR Up before the birds, we are off to Cooinda where we join the world-renowned sunrise Yellow Waters cruise. This is the perfect cruise to witness the wakening of wildlife on the wetlands backed up by expert local commentary. Enjoy the full buffet breakfast at Cooinda resort after the cruise before spending some quality time in the comprehensive aboriginal culture centre, Warradjan. Featuring stories, images, crafts, art and much more Warradjan is a place to go quietly and slowly. Absorb the knowledge and then sit down with female elders and learn the craft of string making and weaving afterwards (not guaranteed). Following this we journey towards Anbangbang Billabong and Nourlangie. Both Anbangbang and Nourlangie are rich in natural values and are significant areas of past and present areas of environmental interaction for the local indigenous people. A wealth of rock art adorning the sandstone massifs of Nourlangie provide the perfect depiction of life through the ages for Australia’s first peoples. Take your time and ask those questions of your guide. Following the walk enjoy lunch by Anbangbang Billabong before getting back to Jabiru and your 30 minute scenic flight over the region. No better way to put it all in perspective than from 2000 ft ! Departing Jabiru around 330 pm expect to be back in Darwin around 7 pm.

Day 1: Darwin - Kakadu Travel to the floodplains of the Mary River. Continue to Kakadu National Park in Jabiru, where you'll be spending the next two nights. Go to Cahills Crossing on the border of Kakadu and Arnhem Land. Visit Ubirr Sunset to see the best-preserved collection of Aboriginal Rock Art in the world and be blown away by the lookout views over the Nadab Floodplains. Day 2: Jabiru Return Visit either the Jim Jim or Twin Falls Waterfall (seasonal access permitting) situated at the bottom of an adventurous 4WD road. Partake in an Aboriginal cultural experience. Stop at the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Center and explore the culture of Kakadu. Day 3: Jabiru - Pine Creek Start at one of the best sunrise spots in the park, the Nawurlandja Lookout, before breakfast at Anabangbang Billabong. Discover Burrungkuy (Nourlangie) Rock which houses fantastic Aboriginal Rock Art of the Bininj at the Anabangbang Gallery. Head up to Kunwarddewardde Lookout for incredible views of Kakadu’s Escarpment. A 4WD track awaits, as you travel south to the plunge pool of Maguk one of the most pristine waterfalls in Kakadu. After a 2km walk, head towards Pine Creek to relax and enjoy the local hospitality. Day 4: Pine Creek - Darwin Visit either Edith Falls or Butterfly Gorge for exploration and swimming (seasonal access permitting). Stop at Adelaide River on your way back to Darwin. Go to the Heritage-Listed Adelaide River War Cemetery and explore the impact WWII had on the area. Afterward, the vibrant Mindil Markets await, where you can grab some local food and watch the sunset. Day 5: Darwin - Litchfield Return Explore Litchfield National Park and experience thick pockets of tropical rainforest. Hop on the iconic Jumping Crocodile Cruise (optional extra) along the Adelaide River. Alternatively, visit Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve. See the incredible monolithic Magnetic Termite Mounds, before cooling off in one of the natural plunge pools such as Buley Rockholes or Wangi Falls. Visit the thundering Florence Falls or Tolmer Falls and marvel at the sheer beauty carved out amongst the rocky escarpment.

Travel south and enjoy a picnic lunch at the plunge pool of the pristine waterfall Maguk. Travel back to your accommodation in Pine Creek to relax. Day 4: Explore and swim at Edith Falls or Butterfly Gorge, where you can cool off in the clear water. Start the return trip to Darwin with a stop at Adelaide River, a town steeped in history. Learn about the impact of World War II at the Adelaide River War Cemetery.

Meet your experienced handlers at the start of your 1.5-hour tour. From there, be led through the park whilst hearing the animals’ stories and being supervised throughout your encounters with these unique reptiles. At your first stop, learn how to feed a 5-meter-long crocodile, feeling the true power of its bite. Then, feed the feisty juvenile crocs from the "Fishing for Crocs" platform, followed by some one-on-one time with a baby crocodile. Departing from the meeting point in Raintree Park, begin the 2-hour guided tour as you walk the paths of pioneers. View Government House, Parliament House, and the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory on a journey through the streets of this modern tropical city.  There are many hidden treasures to see on foot and plenty of opportunities to capture photographs of the public artworks, architecture, historic buildings, tropical plants, and wildlife.

World War II has reached mainland Australia, and as a result, the Northern City of Darwin is bombed.  Move forward to present day Darwin, where you can embark on a tour that will allow you to relive that fateful and mournful day. Your friendly and informative guide will take you back to that WWII era on a 2-hour walk through the historic quarter of the city. Listen as your guide shares stories of that fateful day whilst you meander past the historic buildings of the time which have been re-built to provide lasting memories of life in the North during the War.
