Know Before You Go
Dress is casual, but as Dartmoor is high moorland, ad Plymouth is Maritime England so be prepared for all types of weather. A fleece and light waterproof are sensible on all but the sunniest days. Good stout footwear is a must!

The itinerary is entirely flexible and can be planned in advance or adapted on the day for different preferences, bad weather etc. An ability to walk a few hundred meters off the road will help you to enjoy all that Dartmoor has to offer, but the tour can nevertheless be undertaken by those who are less mobile.
