We have seen so many elephants from young to old and from a very close but safe distance wherr the animals dont feel threatend by people :). Herson is such a nice person with many interessting stories about rhe animals and the nature - you feel that he grew up within this surroundings. The self-drive was also fun and very special. You also get an impressive insight into the lifes of the ingenious people and their daily tasks and challenges and their culture. I really recommend thir tour because it is not typical touristic - its very simple and an adventure with a local who is trustworthy but also very glad for the supoort if tourists because of lack of work in the region of Damaraland. With this tour you directly donate to Herson and his family who live in very poor circumstances - you feel that you have an direct positive impact into their lifes with your money.

It was an amazing experience to see so many elephants in their natural habitat. Herson is super friendly, communicative and has a big knowledge about elephants and the damaraland. This adventure was one of thr most spectacular experiences in my life and perfect if you wanna stay out of the crowd - I would highly recommend it!

I've only heard a few chapters, but it was very informative, concise, but still good information. And many points on the map where you can find out something interesting. I'm satisfied, thank you.
