Depart from Windhoek and stop briefly at Otjiwarongo to enjoy a light lunch before entering Etosha National Park through the Anderson Gate. Enjoy a game drive across the park visiting waterholes and looking for predators as well as zebra, giraffe, elephants, and rhino. Arrive at your accommodation just before sunset. The accommodation is located inside Etosha National Park and has a floodlit waterhole next to the camp. Rise for a pre-sunrise snack with tea/coffee and then game drive until mid morning when you return to camp for breakfast before heading out for another game drive. Head back to Halali for a picnic lunch. After lunch, you will visit the mighty Etosha Pan (the largest salt pan in Namibia) before game driving across the park in your quest to find the big 4. Visit one last waterhole to worship the African sunset before you head back for a dinner prepared by your guide over the campfire, where you can compare photos and stories of the animals seen today. Have an early morning breakfast before departing for a drive to the communal lands of Damaraland where you will see the communal farmers in this arid region. You stop at the Ugab River bridge to visit with the beautiful Herero ladies who sell their small art and craft items to support their families. Have lunch in the shadow of the Brandberg Mountain and go on a short visit with a Himba group who have moved into this area to sell their jewellery and other items (dependent on Himba tribespeople). After lunch, you head directly through the Namib Desert and stop at the latest shipwreck on the Skeleton Coast before arriving late afternoon in Swakopmund. Explore this seaside town on foot and visit the jetty for sunset. Have dinner locally (own expense). On the last day you can ask to take part in optional additional activities before you return to Windhoek.

Namibia Private 10 Days Day 1 Arrival Windhoek, Namibia On arrival at Windhoek Airport, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation. The rest of the afternoon will be spent exploring Windhoek city historical sites on a guided tour from 12pm - 4pm. This evening you will meet your guide for your pre-departure meeting. Recommended welcome dinner at Joe's beerhouse restaurant Overnight: The Weinberg Hotel, Windhoek Standard Rooms Day 2 Drive to Sossusvlei, Namibia We have breakfast at 630am and at 8am we will start moving south. We will make our way towards the Namib Naukluft National Park to our accommodation for the next two nights. Overnight: Sossusvlei Taleni Lodge Standard Rooms Meals: Breakfast and Dinner Day 3 A day in the Dunes We have an early morning wake up, have tea and coffee and drive to visit the world’s highest sand dunes at Sossusvlei and Dead-vlei. These dunes, which can reach heights of over 300 m, are absolutely spectacular and provide for a fantastic photo opportunity. First stop is DUNE 45, we hike up for sunrise. Then we will drive to Deadvlei and Big Daddy Dunes as well as Sossusvlei. We are back at the lodge for lunch at 12pm Overnight: Sossusvlei Taleni Lodge Standard Rooms Meals: Breakfast and Dinner Day 4 Namib Naukluft National Park to Swakopmund, Namibia The day is spent driving through the Namib Naukluft National Park on our way to Swakopmund. Overnight: The Delight Lodge Meals: Breakfast Rooms: Standard Rooms Day 5 Enjoy Swakopmund, Namibia Enjoy activities in Swakopmund where you will have the opportunity to soak up the atmosphere of this quaint, little German town and enjoy its beauty and beaches. Overnight: The Delight Lodge Meals: Breakfast Rooms: Standard Rooms Day 6 Swakopmund to Damaraland After breakfast, depart southwards towards the coast and on your way meet the locals of the Himba and Damara tribes, marvel at the amazing views of Spitzkoppe Hill, amazing views as you take a hike up the hills. You will stop at a Himba village on your way to your lodge in Damaraland Overnight: Twyfelfontein Country Lodge Lodge Standard Rooms Meals: Breakfast & Dinner Day 7 Desert Elephants and Historical Damaraland. After breakfast , you are taken to explore and enjoy a morning activity as we drive along the guab river searching for desert elephants and lions. Overnight: Twyfelfontein Country Lodge Lodge Standard Rooms Meals: Breakfast & Dinner Day 8 Etosha National Park After breakfast we depart our lodge to visit a Damara tribe village museum from 9am - 10am. In the afternoon we will enter the Etosha National Park. Overnight: Okaukuejo Bush Chalets, Etosha National Park Standard Rooms Meals: Breakfast Day 9 Etosha 4x4 Safaris We have the opportunity to spend the day on 2 game drives. Etosha Okaukuejo Standard Rooms Meals: Breakfast Day 10 Etosha Safari to Windhoek Enjoy the reserve and afterwards drive south to windhoek where you will be dropped off at the hotel.

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer from International Airport to Windhoek Upon your arrival at the airport, a representative from Discovery Transfers and Tours will be waiting to greet you and provide transportation to your accommodations at Discovery Guest House or a similar establishment. Day 2: Windhoek to Etosha National Park This morning, one of our experienced driver/guides will pick you up from your hotel. Following a comprehensive briefing, introducing you to your private guide and discussing essential aspects of your journey, you'll embark on a half-day game drive in Etosha National Park. Meal Plan: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with overnight camping at Toshari Lodge or a similar option, subject to availability. Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Etosha National Park Today is dedicated to exploring the abundant wildlife of Etosha National Park with a full-day game drive. Focusing on waterholes, where wildlife congregates, both early morning and late afternoon drives are recommended for optimal viewing. Your meals and overnight stay will once again be provided at Toshari Lodge or similar accommodations. Day 4: Cultural Excursions and Departure to Twyfelfontein After breakfast, we depart from Etosha NP for a cultural encounter at Omapaha Himba village, where you'll interact with the Himba people, renowned as one of the last nomadic tribes preserving ancient traditions. Continuing our journey, we visit Twyfelfontein, engaging in a Damara cultural excursion before settling in at our camp site for the night at Madisa camp or similar. Your meals are included. Day 5: Exploring Twyfelfontein and Journey to Swakopmund This morning, we explore Twyfelfontein, renowned for its extensive rock engravings, notably depicting rhinoceros. We then proceed to Cape Cross, observing the Sea Colony and Shipwreck, before traveling to Swakopmund for overnight accommodation at Tiger Reef Camp. Meal plan, Breakfast and Lunch. Day 6: From Sea to Desert - Journey to Namib Desert Transitioning from the coastal region to the desert, we traverse the Tropic of Capricorn and navigate the Kuiseb Passes, descending into the Kuiseb Canyon and ascending to witness the stunning desert panorama. Lunch will be served in Solitaire before reaching our overnight accommodation at Solitaire camp or similar, breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided. Day 7: Exploring Namib Naukluft National Park Today begins with an early start for an unforgettable excursion in Namib Naukluft National Park. Highlights include Dune 45, Dead Vlei, Big Daddy, Sossusvlei, and Sesriem Canyon. Your meals and overnight at Solitaire camp or a similar option. Day 8: Return Journey to Windhoek We commence our return journey to Windhoek, with a stopover in Solitaire for provisions and a scenic drive through the picturesque Spreetshoogte Pass. Anticipate arriving at your preferred hotel or lodge in Windhoek by lunchtime, marking the conclusion of your memorable journey. Breakfast and lunch are included.
