We had a great day on the river boat….the guide “curly” was great and clearly passionate about his job. The coach transfer takes us to the boats and if the group is too large they may split you up between two boats for comfort. The boat heads off to the mud baths. Be prepared for a photographer to be on board to take photos of you as a family and put you in some cringe positions….whilst cringe, they are worth it because I now have lovely photos of the kids and my partner and I. The mud baths is a fun experience….you get used to the sulphur smell quite quickly. When back on the boat you head back to the start position for food which was fresh (cold starter and then hot chicken, fish or spaghetti) then off to turtle beach, stopping to get some BBQ blue crab, one portion for 4 was fine for a taste. Turtle beach is stunning, this is the only swim spot on the tour. You can buy drinks and snacks on the boat and the captain charges you at the end, all reasonable prices. Great day out.

We had the pleasure of 'Curly' our tour guide who is a ray of sunshine with his enthusiasm, sense of humour, and determination to ensure everyone enjoed the day which was well organised, with various things to see and very relaxing - not rushed. First, our feeder bus was 10 minutes late but communication was excellent, we were informed and sent a pin of the buses location. When we joined the main bus Curly told us what to expect on the day, how the day would unfold and provided some excellent local and historical information. We loved the mud bath and thermal spa experience, just as it was 23 years ago. We then had a leisurely trip down the Dalyan River with beautiful scenery, the Tombs, fishing village with lots of information on the way - I now want to return one day for a stay in Dalyan. Turtle beach is a lovely sandy beach and not too busy this time of the year. An introduction to a blue crab and two loggerhead turtles ☺️ was a thrill. A thoroughly excellent day.

What a brilliant day out! Fun, a great variety of activities, chilled travel, no rushing, plenty to see and do, some free time to explore or relax - absolutely loved it! Also, our tour guide (Sir Curly (he was Mr Curly year but he's decided to give himself an upgrade this year!)) was hilarious and informative, giving clear info about the day's logistics, super interesting historical, cultural, ecological and local knowledge delivered in a theatrical style that will keep everyone riveted at all times! (I'm a college teacher and thought Sir Curly was outstanding in his communication).
