A great, tasty way to explore Deep Ellum. Amanda was a great guide and had a lot of knowledge. Would definitely recommend.

We had brisket at the well known Pecan Lodge, Chili and biscuit at Allgood Cafe, stuffed jalapenos, our choice of a flavored soda, and a pie slice at Pie Emporium. The food was all very good. Portions were samples, which we expected, but 2 of the 5 were to be shared(one sample for each two person couple). There were 3 couples on the tour so it kinda worked. If there hadn’t been couples would we have had to share a sample w a stranger? Mandy, our guide, was really nice and quite talkative. She showed us lots of the incredible murals around Deep Ellum and gave us some history. The area is really interesting.
